PLOT

Paroxysm is a fic that parallels the Harley Quinn / Joker relationship with Min Yoongi and an OC. Yoongi is the nephew of a crime boss and a member of the BTS gang in capitvity, and Eunhee is a psychiatrist tasked with evaluating him. Throughout her sessions with him, she realizes that not only is he more dangerous than she anticipated, but their sessions are a lot more of a two-way street than she is comfortable with. To get inside his head, she has to let him get inside of her head. The fic develops past that dynamic, but I don't want to give anything else away quite yet. :) 

THOUGHTS

Paroxysm is an interesting one. It's dark and twisty, and that is so very up my alley. The way emotions are written in this fic are rapid and intense, and it's an absolute delight to keep up with. How the characters when you first meet them isn't how they end up, and I love me some juicy character development. The main character changes quite a bit and the way she interacts with others changes as well. I won't go into detail, because you should read it for yourself and find out, but I really like the characters are multi-faceted. Even though this story contains abuse, the author does not portray it as a g
