I don't believe in love at first sight.

He stood and looked at the two teenagers who were occupying the swings in the playground.  He had waited patiently, hoping that they would leave so that he could have his turn, however the two teenagers were merely sitting on the swings while laughing and chatting to each other.  He wondered why they did not sit on the bench if they only wanted to sit and chat.  He began to frown and pout.  They saw him standing there and knew that he wanted to play, yet they pretended like he was non-existent.

"Hey, I think the kid wants to play," said one of the boys, finally noticing the frown on the child's face.

The other teenager glanced at the child and frowned.  "Hey kid, we're busy here, go play on the slide or something."

The child pouted.  "But I want to play on the swings."

"We were here first!" the teenager declared.

"But daddy said I could play on the swings," the child cried.

"Well, you go tell your daddy that you can't play on the swings because we're on it!" the teenager retorted.

Tears welled in the child's eyes as he ran off.

"Seriously, you're arguing with a kid?" his friend asked.

The teenager shrugged.

"Now he's run off to tell his daddy on you," continued his friend.  "What are you going to do when his daddy comes?"

"I'll tell him that-"

"Daddy, it was him!"
