Description
Summer is coming near and that means the end of this school year. For students like myself, this means that we're graduating and beginning a brand new chapter of our life. Some of us may go to a community college, some might go to some big name university, and some of us may just go straight into working. Point is, we're leaving this life of our teenage years behind us and are traveling into our adulthood.
Well I would say that I'm happy about this, but I would be lying.
I'm afraid, not for my future — or maybe it is my future I am worried about. My future without someone's certain song that rings through my ears so blissfully. Over the last four years of attending this high school, I've grown spoiled to the wonderful sound of my classmate's voice. Although to other's it might seem silly when there are so many different artists out there who provide a good voice and great songs, to me, it just isn't the same.
We have one final project before we graduate, which means I only have four more weeks left with this song bird of mine.
