"what should we do now?" seongwu mutters as he steal a glance at daniel who is sitting at the end of the freezer, 20 minutes have passed but they still can't figure out a way to get out from this cold room. there's nothing they can do, either trying to open the door by themselves or screaming for help. it will only waste their strengths

"why did I have to go through all these kinds of problems when I'm with him?" daniel thought as he stares at seongwu's face and after awhile they both accidentally made eyes contact, the two got flustered and quickly look away from each other

as the times passed by, the temperature in the room is getting colder and colder. seongwu hugs his knees against his chest and hold onto his own coat tightly. but then seongwu started to feel uncomfortable especially when he looks at daniel, the younger is trembling more than seongwu does although he also has his own coat on. 

seongwu knows that daniel couldn't stand the coldness for too long, he really hates the coldness and of course that's why he hates winter. he barely go out when it's winter, he prefers staying in the house and sleep all day in his warm bed

and that's the reason that now make seongwu is hesitating whether he should go up to the younger and give him, his own coat because he really can't watch daniel has to go through hard time especially when the main cause all of these problems is seongwu himself. 

in the end, seongwu just decides to walks slowly toward daniel as he takes off his coat at the same time. daniel is leaning against the wall with his knees up to his chest and he hugged them tightly to keep himself warm. he also has his face buries in his knees so he doesn't notice the older's presence until seongwu put the coat on him. 

daniel got a bit startled as he looks up and realized that seongwu has given his own coat to him although the older is also suffering in cold as well

"what are you even doing? I don't need this!" daniel hissed as he quickly yank the coat off him and throw it away, seongwu kinda expected this to happen so he didn't say anything and just went to pick up the coat and put it on the younger again.

daniel was going to throw it away again but seongwu is fast enough to stop daniel from doing that, "I know you hate me but at least please keep this on, you know your own condition better than anyone else so for your own sake, just take this and then you can just throw it away once we get out" 

daniel became silence after seongwu tries to reason with him with that kind of sentences because the older is right after all, no matter how much he hate the older, he should at least think about his own situation first. but there's still one thing that bother him, the thing is he just couldn't understand why seongwu even give his own coat to him in the first place? isn't he cold as well?

as seongwu sees that daniel didn't try to take off the coat anymore, he wants to walk back to his place before but his legs seems like they can't be controlled by him anymore. he's too cold that he can't barely open his eyes and his lips already turned purple and his condition became worse after took of the coat. seongwu knows that he really couldn't walk now even if he tries his best so he ended up just sitting beside daniel with only 5cm distance between them

"why are you sitting here?" daniel asked as he turned to look at seongwu beside him, daniel seems like he's still fine since he still can talk smoothly

"I'm...sorry if this...could...make you feel uncomfortable... but I really couldn't walk...right...now so let me...stay here for a few minutes" seongwu tries to convince the younger with his already weak tone, he's not sure if he still can hold on for any longer. his eyes has already become blurry

"alright..." was the only word that daniel responded to seongwu as he turns his face away from the older. then they both just keep sitting quietly beshim each other until seongwu couldn't hold on anymore and lost his conscious as his head fell on daniel's shoulder. 

daniel jumped a bit in shock with the sudden physical contest as he takes a look at seongwu only to realized that both of seongwu's eyes are already closed

"yah! yah ong seongwu? what are you doing? don't scare me, ong seongwu!" daniel said as he slaps seongwu's cheeks lightly multiple times but the older still not open his eyes

daniel doesn't know what to do anymore, he's just scared when he sees seongwu in this kind of situation and he ending up pulled seongwu into his embrace and hugged the older tightly in his chest to keep the older warm

daniel keeps seongwu in his embrace and after awhile, he finally could feel that seongwu is moving again, "I'm sleepy...daniel...ah" seongwu barely whispers as he snuggles closer to daniel, "no you can't sleep, don't sleep or else you won't be able to wake up again. listen to me, ong seongwu!" daniel said as he holds seongwu even more closer to him. he's already in the edge of tear after hearing seongwu's voice again

"I'm...so...cold and...sleepy" seongwu keeps rrepeating this same phrases a few times and there is daniel who tries his best to keep seongwu stays conscious, "I'll keep you warm, don't worry" daniel reassure the older as he takes off the coat that seongwu put on his earlier and put them back to its owner. and not only seongwu's coat but daniel also takes off his own coat and put it as another layer on seongwu and then he hugged seongwu in his embrace

"you have to be fine, I won't let you go anywhere away from me this time" 

30 minutes later

minhyun has just arrived the restaurant and to his surprise the restaurant is already closed.  he was planning to come to pick up seongwu after work but now the restaurant is closed earlier than he thought. minhyun then tries to contact seongwu but no one answer the call. minhyun is really worried so he just carefully walks into the restaurant since the door is not locked which mean there are still people in the restaurant.

as minhyun got in, the first tthings that quick to catch minhyun's attention is seongwu's bag that is on the table. 

"his bag and phone are still here but where is he?" minhyun mutters to himself as he pick up the bag and phone, minhyun was planning to go to the btoesoom to ssee if seongwu is there but then someone suddenly walk in

"who are you?" minhyun asks as he stares at the stranger who is also looking at him cluelessly

"shouldn't I be the one who ask this question? I work here and you?who are you? what are you doing in the restaurant at the closed hour like this? are you a thief?" jonghyun said as takes steps closer to minhyun and then observes other from head to toes

"what? thief? no!!! I came here to look for my friend and then I see that the door is not locked so I just get in" minhyun explained but jonghyun is still looking him with doubtful face, "the door is not locked? how could it be? daniel has always locked the door before he went home...and however, which friend are you looking for ? I mean what's his name?"

"seongwu, ong seongwu"

"seongwu?didn't he already went home?"

"no, it can't be. his bag and phone are still here" minhyun said as he lift up the bag and phone in his hand for jonghyun to see

then jonghyun tries to think about this whole situation again and finally got a hunch of what's possibly happened

"don't tell me..." jonghyun trailed off as he waste no time to run to the kitchen, and then minhyun followed him from behind. 

as jonghyun got into the kitchen, he quickly goes to the freezer, he then roamed through his pocket to find the key to unlock the door. and after the door finally opened, both jonghyun and minhyun widen their eyes after seeing the scene in front of them
