It was night time in Korea and Sana got herself ready to go to bed. The guest room in Mina’s apartment had officially became her room. She decided to stay with Mina even though she have enough money to find another shelter for herself but staying with her bestfriend was more safe and secured. Mina didn’t reject the latter’s decision because they both were happy to be together. 

 

Sana was stirring in bed trying to make herself comfortable before entering her dreamland. Then she stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before letting out a chuckle. Her mind was occupied with her conversation with Chaeyoung earlier that day. 

 

Flashback 

 

Sana, Chaeyoung and Mina laughed with each other after Chaeyoung revealed some hilarious story about Tzuyu. 

 

“Really, I’m serious. Haha” he laughed 

 

“Oh my god that must be so embarrassing!” Sana laughed out loud 

 

“I can’t believe he did that when you both were in high school” said Mina 

 

“We went through a lot in high school. I got bullied all the time and Tzuyu was always there to save my ” Chaeyoung smiled 

 

“Tell me about his parents” asked Sana. She was so immersed about the story of Tzuyu’s background. 

 

“His parents left him when he was young” 

 

“I know. What actually happened?” 

 

Chaeyoung said, “Well, his mother was really sick when she was giving birth to Jeongyeon, Tzuyu’s little sister. After Jeongyeon was born, their mother passed away. About the father, he got poisoned one day when he was working” 

 

“Poisoned?” the girls asked 

 

“Yes. One of the company’s staff put something in his coffee. He drank it and gone in just seconds. 

The incident really made Tzuyu upset. Jeongyeon was too young back then so he stayed strong for her” 

 

“What do you mean?” Sana asked 

 

“After aunt Jihyo, which is their maid ever since they were babies, told Tzuyu about their father had passed away because of the poison, Tzuyu couldn’t stop crying for days, maybe weeks. I would always come to his house just to hang around with him, and let him cool down but it was really hard. Tzuyu was going through a hard time, I could only watch him cry. But one day he realized that he only has Jeongyeon and Jeongyeon only have his brother left. Since then, Tzuyu changed his attitude, almost everything about him. He became a happy and easy going person you’ve ever met on this planet” 

 

“He’s doing that just because of Jeongyeon?” Sana asked 

 

“Yes. Until now. Jeongyeon doesn’t know about it. No one does. I know coz he told me. He told me that he will not make Jeongyeon sad or cry. And then their family moved to America. Uncle Minwoo, which is their blood uncle, always tried to make Tzuyu work because Tzuyu became the heir of his dad’s company. However, Tzuyu always escape. All he wanted to do was having fun” 

 

“He is really, something. And wow thanks for the story Chaeyoung. Now I know almost everything about him” said Sana 

 

“You’re welcome. But hey, don’t you girls wanna know something about me too?” he pouted 

 

“You can tell that to Mina-ya” Sana giggled

“Chou Tzuyu” 

 

“Why only now you appear in my life?”

“Is that Mina? Who is she with?” 

 

“Omo is Myoui Mina taken?” 

 

“Who is that short guy! Noo! My Mina Mina Minari!” 

 

People in the mall were gossiping around after they looked at Chaeyoung and Mina who was shopping together. They both can clearly hear the whispering and gossiping around them, which made them to smile shyly. Chaeyoung glanced at Mina whose cheeks were already blushing. He slowly took her hand and let his fingers to intertwine with hers.  

“Omo they are now holding hands!!”    “My Mina.. but they both look good together”    “I guess the priceless models are both taken..”    Mina showed her famous eyesmiles towards Chaeyoung and that melted him. His squeezed his left hand which was holding onto Mina’s shopping bag.    “Chae, I think we should go now. The mall’s closing” she took a glance at her watch    “Okay” he replied with a nod    Suddenly they heard someone calling for them, “Yah lovebirds!”    They turned around and saw Siwon walking towards them with his right hand shoved in his pocket while the other was holding some shopping bags.    “Oppa!” Mina let go of Chaeyoung’s hand to hug her cousin    “Hey how’s it going you guys?” Siwon smiled    “We’re just shopping. You too?” said Chaeyoung    “Yup. The mall’s closing anyway what are you guys still doing here?”    “We’re about to go actually” Mina smiled    “I see. Hey Mina I bought something for you” Siwon looked for something in his shopping bags. He found it and gave it to her.    “Chocolate chips! My favourite! Thanks oppa” she hugged Siwon again    ‘Note, Mina’s favourite chocolate are choc chips’ – Chaeyoung said in his mind    “Sorry Chaeyoung, I only bought for my favourite girl here” said Siwon    “It’s okay” Chaeyoung smiled    “Oppa are you alone?” Mina naturally held Siwon’s arm    “Yes. I wanted to shop alone anyways, just wanna feel freedom a bit. Hehe”    Seeing the skinships happening between the two of the cousins made Chaeyoung to feel a little jealousy arising inside him.    “Don’t be a loner. Next time call me. I can accompany you”    “If I do that, then what about Chaeyoung?” Siwon looked at Chaeyoung    Mina looked at Chaeyoung who seemed to be jealous with her close relationship with Siwon. She immediately went to Chaeyoung and held his hand.    “Then I’ll think twice about it” she smiled warmly at Chaeyoung    “Okay okay lovey dovey time. Oh hey look at the time. Time to go or you’ll be trapped inside here” Siwon chuckled    “Let’s go. Chae, send me home?” Mina asked Chaeyoung    “Sure” Chaeyoung smiled  **************    About 10 minutes later, Chaeyoung’s car safely arrived at Mina’s apartment.
