Photography

Words: 2030

Pictures aren't only printed memories, but also moments and feelings we once shared, whether if they were awful or dazzling they still reached a stage in our minds where we couldn't forget them anymore, where we could drift back into those certain moments with just one sight of those pictures.

Our days consist of pictures, on advertisements, newspapers, magazines and just almost everywhere we are passing by. All those slim models posing on them to bring the company more income with selling their products or pictures of all those important people out there. But photography has also its bad sides, showing deaths and horrible images which are burning their way into our brain, staining it with horrible images.

For Park Chanyeol pictures have always been something ravishing, whether capturing a boring piece of leaf or immense, antic buildings he adored everything about it. People were calling him strange for his hobby, avoiding his presence, laughing about him and bullying him since elementary school. He has never been famous and he never had any friends, but however he saw a friend in his camera and those pictures were his oxygen. It even helped him to reduce his problem with ADHD when he was younger, and calmed him down whenever he felt like losing control of himself, which even wondered all the doctors and therapists he saw during that time.

-- However Chanyeol has never been completely stabil. Therapists even used to call him obsessed with pictures, and way too kept in himself that it reached a level where he was almost put into an asylum. During therapy hours he sat put, staring at the wall while the therapist tried to talk him, no words coming out of his mouth. He had never been a real talker, his camera was talking for him. But even when he hated to talk, since the stuttering was not letting him talk probably, reducing his chance from having normal conversations and more important contact to real people.

Once again he focused his camera on the little bird on the bench, his breath quiet while he was looking for the best angle to capture it, before pressing the button to muster his art. It's beautiful. A pleased smile appeared on his face as he stood up, more than satisfied with his work. He laid down on the grass, glancing up to the sky while stripes of lights were falling on his face, almost blinding him. Today was a good day. His smile grew even wider while he closed his eyes, enjoying the heat surrounding his body in an instance. The silence was filling his ears, making him drift into his thoughts completely. Life has been unfair to him till now, but it wasn't awful.

-- Maybe it was his fate, maybe there was still a turning point where everything would suddenly change drastically.

Suddenly voices started to echo in Chanyeol's ears, making him stand up in light-speed as he glanced at the students who were heading towards the park, distracted while talking to each other and laughing happily. He grabbed his camera carefully and made his way through the messy crowd, insults and laughter hitting his ear until he finally arrived at the entrance of the school. I don't want to go in. He looked at it for a few moments but decided to enter it when more students started to approach him, immediately running up to the boys toilets and locking one of the cabins in light-speed. Stay here until class starts. You're safe here.

He inhaled and exhaled sharply, leaning on the wall of the toilets while holding his camera tightly in his large hands, looking through all the pictures he took today. They look good. He smiled as he suddenly heard the school bell ringing, the sign that classes were about to start. A sigh escaped his mouth but he decided to leave the toilets, holding his camera tightly while he put his hoodie over his head to avoid strange comments as he left the boys toilets, going straight to his class in a fast pace.

He breathed out relieved when he approached his class, entering it as everyone fixed their sights at him, a grin appearing on their faces. "Oh look, it's the weirdo," a girl screamed while Chanyeol walked to first seat he found, sitting down on it, but immediately getting weird looks from the girl next to him. "You scare the out of me. Sit somewhere else." Everyone suddenly laughed even louder, Chanyeol flinching in the seat and immediately standing up to walk towards the last line, where no one was sitting. It's better like this. You like being alone. Alone..

He fished his headphones out of his bag, plugging them in, so that he didn't have to listen to their laughter any

Chapter 5: After reading the foreword, I'm slowly starting to get really nervous. Kris was just the beginning, wasn't he?

(As long as Baekyeol get together in a somewhat healthy relationship in the end I don't really mind, though)

Chapter 4: Honestly it was obvious Sehun was cheating, but I didn't expect it to be with Luhan.

I'm so disappointed in Luhan - Baekhyun is his supposed best friend and then he does that. Baekhyun has every right to feel angry/disappointed -
And I hope Luhan will regret everything, honestly.

I'm pretty sure Chanyeol and Baekhyun will start spending more time, and I could imagine Chanyeol quickly gaining Baekhyuns trust, cause he'll mist likely want to rely on someone in this situation, and at the moment Chanyeol might seem like the only one that doesn't use him.
