Jinki found Seungyeon sitting with her elbows rest on her lap at the desolate back yard of the school, looking extremely sad. Jinki took his seat beside her, but didn’t say anything. Seungyeon gazed up at his coming, frowned.

“Why are you here.” she said, threw her face towards other direction, refusing to face Jinki.

“My bestfriend is sitting here alone, of course I have to accompany her.” Jinki smiled.

“Humph. Right. Bestfriend.” Seungyeon replied sarcastically, trying hard to endure the pain in her heart hearing the word “bestfriend”.

“Wae? I’m not your bestfriend?” Jinki faked a pout.

“You knew you’re not a mere bestfriend for me.” she whispered. Jinki threw his gaze down. The fact was, he knew. He could sense it. He wasn’t so dense to not know about Seungyeon’s feeling towards him, but he tried his best to maintain his good relationship with her as it was. He did care for her as his bestfriend, but there was nothing more. He has hoped for this kind of conversation to never raised up because he knew he could never accepted her feeling. A place in his heart had always been reserved for someone else.

“Seungyeon...” he started, but Seungyeon cutted him off.

“I love you, okay? I’ve always loved you since the day we met, and don’t try to pretend you didn’t know that!” she said fiercely, tears started to trickle down her cheek. Jinki was just sitting there, didn’t know what to do.

“And I always cared for you! I’m the one that always been beside you! Not that arrogant girl. So why-” she sobbed, didn’t able to continue for a while. She managed to resist the sobbing and continued, staring at Jinki.

“Why won’t you look at me Jinki-ya? You know I’m the one that care for you the most.”
