Choi Hyera is a young and driven attorney.

Though her performance as an defense attorney is mediocre, she holds herself to be proud and confident of her job, that is providing the best for her clients, but standing on court with Oh Sehun, vigilant and highly competent prosecutor, and losing every case to him, she starts questioning herself.

Hyera berates herself to buckle down. She takes on a case, then another, then another, hoping to succeed and when the battle against herself ends, she's slapped across the face with an unimaginable, hideous news.

One Tuesday's early morning, Oh Sehun is arrested for murder of his father. Fifty-six-year-old man is found unconscious on the kitchen floor of his apartment, stabbed thrice and lying in his pool of blood. News spread like wildfire and currently the entire nation hate him for brutally taking the life of his old father when ironically, his former occupation screams justice. After Sehun's initial attorney resigns from the case, nobody else is willing to take it up.
