“You have a scheduled interview tomorrow at 5PM, and the venue will be at ALUU Salon, I’ve already arranged it with them….and…Wook-ah” his manager interrupted his reverie

“Hyung, cancel all my schedule starting today for 2 wks no 3 wks” he exclaimed as he stood up from a deep stupor

“Wook-ah…”his manager pleadingly said

He was lethargic like a man in a trance “She was just right here confined in my embrace,” he said slowly dropping his gaze on his arms and lovingly stared at it. He gently closed his eyes and whispered lovingly ”I can still smell the scent of her perfume, the warmth of her breath…the smoothness of her skin…the tenderness of her lips…but the feelings” still walking in trance, he paused slowly shifted his gaze to Manager Bang “…her feelings for me…it’s slowly slipping away…the image of me in her eyes…it’s slowly fading…Hyung please!…just this once…I have to do something…I really want her back…please” Chang Wook continued with remorse

Two days had passed after Chang Wook’s encounter with Ji hyun. He was hoping to at least have a chance to talk to her. He went to her house only to find out that she went to Jeju with her mother and father. Tomorrow will be her last day. She’ll be flying back to US to fulfill her studies. “Babo! Why did you let her run away from you…you could have begged her to stay and listen to you…Babo!Babo!” he thought while hitting his head in dismay

“No!” his manager exclaimed

“Hyung! I beg you” Chang Wook said desperately

“Not 3 wks, 2 wks that’s it! And start packing your things…there’s no assurance that you’ll have a chance to meet her here in Seoul…you must prepare yourself to follow her in the US” his manager said with a comforting smile

“Hyung!” he exclaimed

“Here take this…Nam Min hy-ssi’s address in Los Angeles, I’ve already prepared your tickets and hotel accommodation…” his manager said smiling

“Hyung! Thank you…Thank you so much” he said with eyes b with tears

“And another thing, there’s a condition!” his manager said

“Condition?” Chang Wook asked

“You have to promise me that you’ll succeed…show her how you earnestly yearns for her…that’s all that is needed…Fighting!” said his manager while tapping his shoulder

Manager Bang knows how desperate Chang Wook is and it broke his heart seeing his friend living his life pitifully…like a beautiful bird in a cage. Thankfully Ji Hyun’s manager also feels the same with Ji hyun and he’s willing to cooperate. “Tsk! Too bad the Hera CF didn’t work…anyway with this two love struck Babo…the chances of being together again is high” Manager Bang mused with a confident smile walking away, leaving Chang Wook in a light-hearted mood.

Minhy was stuck with Jinny. “Jinny-ah, ooh…just play with your rattle, such a cute doll…Imo will be here tomorrow…hehehe…you’ll finally hear her singing voice again…ooooh you missed her already?...me too I miss her also” she cooed “Let’s see…let’s watch Arirang I’m missing your Imo…let’s see other Koreans to compensate the absence of our own chatterbox…neh…Jinny-ah” she playfully said to Jinny. She slumped on the plush sofa with Jinny in her baby carrier. “Let us see who’s the guest for today…I wish it will be G Dragon or Gong Yoo perhaps…hek!hek!hek! What am I thinking?” she cheerfully thought. That moment….She gasped!

“Let’s welcome our guest for today “ROM-COM King” Ji Chang Wook ….How are you? Welcome to the show” the interviewer said

“Omo! Omo! it’s Chang Wook Oppa” Min hy exclaimed, for some reason her heart was beating frantically, she automatically thought about Ji Hyun “God, please take of care of my Ji Hyun…I don’t want her in pain…please…I beg you” she whispered softly afraid for Ji Hyun. She just read in her feeds that Ji Chang Wook was dating her leading lady in his latest drama.

“Ah Yes! How are you….” Chang Wook replied

“Your drama has been consistently high on the ratings and stayed on top till the end…you’ve been dubbed as the ROM-COM King having 2 high rating rom coms under your belt...before and after your Military Service…do you have certain rules to follow or technic in doing rom coms?” the interviewer asked

“Well, since it’s not my first time doing a rom com…it’s been easier for me to grasp the flow of the character…having a good rapport with your co-actors really contributed a lot to the drama as a whole” Chang Wook replied

“Your chemistry with your leading lady really gave all the feels for the drama…how did you manage to do that?” the interviewer asked

“With regards with the chemistry…I make it a point to discuss the flow of a scene with the leading lady” he said

“What’s your favorite scene in this drama?” the interviewer asked

“My favorite scenes? Those that include the gang…3 grown up professionals living in one roof…all the scene where were all included is my favorite” he said with a smile “It was really hilarious and so much fun” he added

“And I thought you would say it's the kissing scenes?” the interviewer teased

“The kissing scenes were artistically done, nothing special about it” he replied with a crease on his forehead

“What is your take on dating a co-star?” the interviewer prodded

Min hy was focused on the program her heart is beating like a crazy monkey inside a cell. She felt dried up. She ran to get a cold canned juice and dart back, opened the can quickly while eyes on the TV…and drink

“Well it’s not a bad idea…I fell in love with my leading lady before…” Chang Wook said nonchalantly

She choked..coughed…and splattered all the remaining juice…she wheezed incessantly bringing tears in her eyes

“ By before you mean…before you enter the military…?” the interviewer asked

“Yes with my Suspicious Partner…” Chang Wook said his eyes looking straight on the camera

“You mean with Nam Ji Hyun-sshi?” said the interviewer in disbelief

“Michyeoss-eo! Neomu Micheyeoss-eo! Oh…..Yah! If that’s really how you feel, then take her back….Babo! Aigoo…couple Babo!” she cried

“Yes…and I’m still in love with her…” Chang Wook said with determination

“So what happened? Did you confess?” the interviewer prompted

“I will…hope she’ll accept me” Chang Wook said solemnly “No more probing” he looked at the interviewer straight in the eye and smiled sheepishly.

“Woah! You really got me there…you really don't know how to beat around the bush...you're the man!….Well there you go folks…Nam Ji Hyun-sshi if you are watching now please listen to our Ji Chang Wook's plea” the interviewer teasingly said

“Asa! I’ll take your word for that…You have to show me what you’ve got….You!...have to bring back my Jihyun-ie’s smile or else you’re a dead man…hear me?” she said excitedly, pointing at Chang Wook’s face with a threatening finger “Eotteohge! Eotteohge!....” she’s thrilled “Will I call Ji hyun now? Does she know about this?...God thank you…thank you so much!....Gah! So happy for Ji hyun” she thought eagerly. She dialed Ji Hyun’s number  

“Wae?” Ji hyun said 

“Where are you? I’ve got big news! Big news!” Min hy said in excitement

”What about?...Any news about me? About my new CF? I’m busy with Mom and Dad, oh…and by the way they’ll be coming with me to visit Jinny...Hello?” Ji hyun replied 

“Ah! You haven’t heard about the Big news yet? Where are you exactly in a temple?” Min hy said in dismay  

“Hoel! Daebak! Eotteohge alasseo? Were at Yakcheonsa now...in Jeju…Mom and Dad are with me…I’ll be extending my stay by 2 more days…Why? Started to miss me?...” chuckled Ji hyun 

“Darn” Minhy hissed under her breath 

“Darn? Omo!...so you’re cursing me now! Don’t want to see me anymore huh!” Ji hyun said teasingly 

“No…No…It’s not you…uhg!…never mind….just take care okay? Send my kisses to Eomma and Appa…and…no it’s not important…just enjoy your stay…I miss you” Minhy relented 

“Ha!ha!ha!...okay kisses for Jinny too…see you soon bye!” Ji hyun ended the conversation 

“What was that all about? Manager-nim and Eonnie are saying the same thing? Big news? Huh! If I know it’s about some unfounded rumors these two pranksters….I better pray hard to exorcise anti-fans” Ji hyun muttered chuckling   

“What is this? She doesn’t have any idea or heard about this? Manager-nim should have told her about it? Ah this…two really!” Minhy said agitatedly. She dialed Manager-nim’s number. 

“Oh! Min hy-ah…” Ji hyun’s manager said 

“Why didn’t you tell Ji hyun about Chang Wook Oppa’s interview? What’s the matter with you? Don’t you want her to be happy?” Min hy said getting angry now 

“I tried…but I just can't...seems like it's inappropriate...those words she better hear it firsthand...either by seeing that Arirang interview herself or through Chang Wook hyung himself, We...Us...who loves them don't have the right to meddle, all we can do is just make opportunities for them to meet and finally settle all the loose ends...anyway we both know that they're still in love with each other...I don't want to give Ji hyun the opportunity to be defensive and build walls again. I want Chang Wook hyung to be assertive and show his sincerity...they really have to get through this by themselves...me? I'm doing all the best I can to make them meet and talk their hearts out and I still believe that will happen" Ji hyun's manager earnestly explained

“Okay…I understand…I will help too…Ah! These two they’ll be the death of me. Would it help if I just bang their heads together! And…I’m sorry if I offended you. Thank you for always being there for my Ji hyun” Min hy said apologetically “Manager-nim, can you send me a copy of that Interview…pretty please!” she slyly said

Two days later…Ji Chang Wook was on his way to Min hy’s house. He’s really anxious to see Ji Hyun. 

The doorbell rang…“Chang Wook Oppa?” Min hy was flabbergasted 

“I’m sorry if I came unannounced but I really have to see Ji hyun? There is something I want to say to her” Chang wook nervously mumbled 

“What to do? Ji hyun is still in Korea…” Min hy said 

“In Korea, but she’s due to go back 2 days ago right?” Chang Wook said in disbelief 

“Yes, she was but she extended her stay because Mom and Dad were coming with her…they will be here tomorrow!” Min hy said with a smile 

Chang Wook was really disappointed. He dropped his gaze to his feet and heaved a heavy sigh. 

“Oppa…go back and wait” Min hy said with reassurance 

“What? What do you mean?” Chang Wook asked his face was stunned 

“I’ll help you…I just don’t want to give Ji hyun the opportunity to dispel her truth because of pride…” Min hy said seriously “You’re the one at fault here…and it doesn’t hurt much if you’ll wait for a couple of months..does it? I just want her to finish her studies..3 more months… I promise” Min hy added dramatically 

Ji Chang Wook…can’t believe his luck…with eyes b with tears “Thank you…I’m sorry for the mess that I’ve cause but this time…I promised I’ll do everything…for her to take me back!...Ohhh Thank you!..Thank you so much!” he gratefully said 

Ji Chang Wook stayed for 3 more days, waiting for Ji hyun to arrive. Driving back and forth to Min hy’s house,just to have a glimpse of Ji hyun from afar…lovingly tracing her figure with his finger. “Ji hyun-ah…I really miss you!” he breathe “All my life…I’ve run around in circles, fighting demons every day,…conquered different hurdles,…they said I’ve made it…the world is at my feet to take…I just had to put on a smile and a happy face to fake it even my heart is breaking into pieces…women they come aplenty but you are not just a woman to me…You are me and I am you…I burn for you” he whispered tears b his eyes.
