Spur of a Moment

Description

Jongdae knows something was off about them. And he doesn't wanna hurt Minseok. But he did.

Foreword

Jongdae was sitting outside the airport for a while now. Hands shaking vigorously and cold sweat forming at the top of his forehead, he knows he is nervous. People walk past him from time to time, going on with their personal agendas. The sun is shining brightly on an aqua hue with clouds floating freely on air.

He is not sure if it is worth his time waiting for something, rather someone to caught in his vision. He's absolutely sure this is gonna be one of those drastic mistakes that he will soon regret his whole life. But what is there to lose? What is there to be scared about? Those questions kept on repeating in his head like how the waves hit the ocean relentlessly. Then it hit him, hard. Without second thoughts, he decided to walk on the entrance of the airport. The guards looking at him intently. Maybe they realized that he's been outside walking over and over again by the doorway. He felt scared that the guards might feel suspicious of him, but it died down when they didn't get near him to scold or to talk.

Walking without direction, he managed to find a vacant seat among those people waiting for their loved ones to arrive. The voices of announcers of flights to took off and flight to arrive are ringing in his head like crazy. Which probably triggered his senses and made him more anxious. Just as he was about to fall into a deep slumber of thoughts, he heard noises and screams coming off from not so far away. He snapped his head to that direction and he saw a hoard of girls jumping and screaming at something. Knowing what it is he stepped forward to look at the mess people are gawking about. Never did he know that he might regret it.

There in the flood of people came boys looking so gorgeous and popular, as girls circled around them and follow them as they walk. These girls all have cameras, smart phones, or any other gadget that can take pictures and snap videos. They were screaming like crazy and running for their lives. He stood there dumbfounded as he spot a certain someone. Someone he hasn't seen for a long time.

With jetblack hair, fair white complexion, cat-like eyes and pink pouty lips. About the same height as he is. Wearing a black skintight jeans, a tucked-in white polo and off-white sneakers. Holding his passport on one hand and removing his face mask on the other. Jongdae knew he was damned.

Someone's star... that phrase reminded me of the song Black by PearlJam, he sang:
I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky...
Glad this story had a happy ending :)
