“Yoon Gi, oppa.”

No respond.

“Hey, Yoon Gi oppa.”

Still no respond.

“Yah Min Yoon Gi,” Kim Jennie called out, a bit louder this time.

However, there was still no indication that the dark haired man had heard her whatsoever. He remained still in his seat with his head down on the table and his face buried against his arms. Jennie knew that he wasn’t actually sleeping. He just hasn’t heard her because he had his headphones on while listening to the music he was working on in front of the colourful lit monitors and sound equipments. Jennie knew that she shouldn’t be disturbing Yoon Gi while he was working but she didn’t sneaked into Big Hit Entertainment’s building on her day off to see her boyfriend just to get ignored by him.

Jennie sighed and got up from the couch. “Yoon Gi oppa,” She called out again and poked him on the shoulder, earning herself a grunt of irritation. She made a face at him and poked him again.

“Yah Min Yoon Gi, I did not take the risk just to come here for you to ignore me,” She snorted down at him even though she knew that he wasn’t listening to her. “I could be doing my nails with the girls or playing with Kai and Kuma but noooo, I came here because I miss you and want to come and see you, you punk,”

When there was still no response from the man, Jennie sighed again. She never thought that she was going to have to play the clingy girlfriend card. She hated being clingy because she was scared that Yoon Gi wouldn’t like it but she missed him so bad that she just wanted to spent time with him, even just for 10 whole minutes.

“Min Yoon Gi-ahhhh~” She called out in a sing-song voice while pulling the hood of his jacket. “Please love meeeee~” The brunette jammed her hand under his arms and tried tickling him. “Opppaaaaaaa~”

Yoon Gi finally moved – grabbing her hand before she could continue to tickle him.

“Babe, I’m working here,” Yoon Gi said, taking off his headphones and placing it on the table without letting go of Jennie’s hand.

“Sorry…” Jennie apologized, pouting as she did. “If I knew you were working I wouldn’t have come…maybe I should just go,” She tried to pull her hand free from Yoon Gi’s grip but the man refused to let her go. He gave it a gentle squeeze and narrowed his eyes at her.

Seeing the look on her face, Yoon Gi sighed and pulled her to him before placing her on his laps. Jennie tried getting up but her boyfriend had his arms locked around her and was keeping her in place.

“I didn’t say you could leave,” Yoon Gi said in his deep and husky voice.

“But I don’t want to disturb you work,” Jennie mumbled.

“If you would have just waited for another 10 minutes, I would already be done for the day and then I would be all yours,” The black haired man snorted as he brushed a strand of brown hair from Jennie’s cheek.

“You could have just told me rather than make me wait,” Jennie retorted back but then her expression softened and she smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “But I can wait for another 10 minutes, go ahead and finish your work first,”

“Are you sure you can wait a little longer? You were annoying me just a few minutes ago,” Yoon Gi asked, raising an eyebrow at her

Jennie rolled her eyes at him. “10 minutes is not going to kill me, Min Yoon Gi, I’ll live.”

“Fine,” Yoon Gi smirked as he spun the chair around with Jennie still on his lap. They now sat facing the monitors. “Do you want to listen to what I’m working on?”

Jennie’s face lit up and she nodded her head. “Can I really listen to what the great Min PD-nim is working on?”

“Only if you promise me to give me your honest opinion,”

Jennie scoffed and waved a hand. “You know I’m the most honest person you’ve ever met.” She then repositioned herself on Yoon Gi’s lap so she sat more comfortable facing the monitors. Resting his chin on her shoulder, Yoon Gi wrapped one arm from the back around Jennie’s tiny waist and handed her the headphones with his other free hand.

Once Jennie pulled the headphones over her ears, Yoon Gi then pressed the enter button and let her listened to the beat that he was working on. When he saw his girl friend subconsciously moved her head to the beat, a small satisfied smirked formed upon his lips. He brushed her brown locks over one shoulder and gave the area where the neck meets the collarbone a light peck, making Jennie shuddered a little. He couldn’t help but chuckle lightly before resting his forehead against her one of her shoulder blade, inhaling her intoxicating scent.

The couple have been keeping their relationship low profile and out of the public knowledge for almost a year now. Only a handful of people knew about their relationship; mostly consisting of their close friends (the members of their groups of course) and a few staffs from both Big Hit and YG Entertainment. They’ve been really good at keeping their relationship a secret because no one would ever guess it since one, everyone thinks that Min Yoon Gi aka BTS’ Suga was a workaholic and would be too lazy for a relationship and two, everyone thinks that the Black Pink members can’t date because of the dating ban set by YG Entertainment. It was the perfect cover for their secret relationship.

“This is amazing oppa,” Jennie said, sounding sincere, taking off the head phones and handing them back to Yoon Gi.

“What do you think?” He asked.

Jennie put a finger to his chin and said sincerely, “It’s hard to explain what’s exactly good about the beat but it’s good alright. Slow and smooth. It has that RnB and hip hop vibe to it. I don’t think it lacks anything really,”

“I don’t know,” Yoon Gi shrugged his shoulders. “I’m not quite happy with it yet,”

“Maybe I can help?” Jennie asked as she ran a hand through her boyfriend’s hair.

Yoon Gi gave it a thought and a few moments passed before he nodded his head. “Go get a chair and sit next to me,”

The brunette couldn’t help but beamed brightly at this and quickly got off Yoon Gi’s lap to pull a chair from the other desk. She then slid into the chair beside her boyfriend, turned the baseball cap on her head around with the beak facing backwards and rolled up the sleeves of her oversize hoodie to her elbow. Those little actions of hers made Yoon Gi realized that she was being serious about helping him with his song and that made him smile.

“Someone looks excited to help me,” He chuckled.

“Duhhh,” Jennie chorused. “It’s an honour to work with the genius Min PD-nim in the studio,”

Yoon Gi rolled his eyes at her, making the girl giggle. The two then went to work on Yoon Gi’s song.

Min Yoon Gi has never felt so complete before…was that even the right word?

Sitting in his dark studio, in front of the monitors with his gorgeous idol girlfriend by his side – actually helping him with his song, giving him her honest and non sugar-coated opinions and putting in her own ideas and lyrics that were more fitting – he never thought that he would ever enjoy someone’s company so much in his own studio and working with him on his own song.

Usually when it came to working on his own songs for his mix tape, he preferred to work on it alone since it something personal to him. Everything from the music to the lyrics, he did it all by himself with a little help from the other producers who were under Big Hit and sometimes even Nam Joon. Even if there was collaboration, most of the work was still done by him. This was the first time his letting someone outside of Big Hit, help him.

And it was his girlfriend.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Jennie asked with an eyebrow raised when she caught Yoon Gi staring at her with this unreadable expression on his face.

“Nothing,” The man answered, smirking before he went back to face the monitors.

Jennie frowned, highly unsatisfied with his answer. She grabbed one of his arms and gave it a shook.

“Tell meeeee~”

“I said it was nothing,” Yoon Gi replied, fighting the urge to pinch her nose. “I was just thinking, that’s all,”

She furrowed her eyebrows together and scrunched her nose up. The look on her face reminded Yoon Gi of a kitten; he had to restrain himself from gobbling her up.

“Thinking about what?”

He ran a hand through his hair, hesitating with answering her. He was never really good at sharing his feelings vocally, so instead he decided to show her with his music instead.

“I have something else to share with you,” He said, turning back to the monitor.
