“Kim Jisoo, right?”

I tense at the words. The voice brings a greater jolt to me than Suga’s hand did when it accidentally hit my thigh. Immediately after the cameras stopped rolling, he’d given me a brief yet genuine apology, which I quickly accepted then turned to dash out the waiting room before I could embarrass myself in front of him.

Yet, it’s his voice calling out to me.

Turning on my heel, I come face-to-face with the man of my dreams. He’s not necessarily close, but since I’d only ever seen him from afar, this felt like he was all the air out of me and leaving me speechless. We’re literally breathing the same air.

“Yes?” I respond formally. I can’t bring myself to make eye-contact for long, only doing so for a split second before turning my attention elsewhere so I wouldn’t get lost in his chocolate eyes.

“I heard about you on the news - we really do look alike, huh?” Jin narrows his eyes, inspecting my face. I immediately blush as one of my worst fears has come true. He thinks we look alike - meaning we could be siblings in his world. I have to turn my face away to hide my disappointment, to which he comments jokingly, “Why? Are you not happy to look like a handsome man such as myself?”

I can’t help scoffing and rolling my eyes, but the smile on my face betrays my act of annoyance. “I’m very happy to look like myself, thank you very much.”
