The students murmured and giggled as they gave strange glances at at the brown haired girl that was checking the bulletin board. Almost everyone in the university found her rather weird, having a full bangs like that... she pretty much looked like a trying-hard nerd. But the thing is.... she's the last of the batch rank.

The idiot, know-nothing loser. 
That's why everyone laughed behind her back. She's always trying, but no matter how hard she tries, she's still the last in line.

The girl pursed her lips, looking at her other classmates or rather students. From then on, she went back to the classroom.

"Hebe? How was it?" a girl who wore her hair with a pair of buns to the side likeka typical chinese girl asked while fixing her books, her attention focused on her seatmate. Her name was Gui, Hebe's first-ever friend since she transferred schools.

"AS USUAL. I'm such a loser! Ugh!!! Why can't I get anything right?!" Hebe whined as she kept her books in the bag. "I'm so stupid."

"No, you're not. Someone's just... better than you." Gui replied with a nervous smile.

"Tch, of course you guys are. WHO SAID I WANTED TO TAKE THIS FREAKING COURSE ANYWAY?! It's their fault!"

"Now, now, you might want to prepare for the exam tomorrow than whining about it." Gui advised.

"Trigo, I ALMOST FORGOT." Hebe gave her forehead a nice slap. "Can you teach me?"

"I'm sorry. I can't, today." Gui replied, blushing as she held a letter in her hands.

"Hm? Why not?" Hebe then shifted her attention to the letter that her friend was holding. "Is that... a love letter?"

The girl replied with a hesitant nod.

"OMG! GOOD LUCK! Treat me if you guys get together, okay?" Hebe excitingly cheered. "So, do I know him?"

"Everyone does. It's Aaron."

"Aaron?" Hebe tiled her head and narrowed her eyes to think. "Sounds familiar."

"The... dean lister."

"OH!!! THE FIRST ONE IN THE RANK!! Neat~~ Go , Gui!! You can do it! Love is vital!" Hebe then gave her a thumbs up. "Go girl!"

Five thirty in the evening.

Hebe went to the library to borrow a book for the exams tomorrow. It was pretty empty because it was almost closing time. She was looking for a particular book in the shelf when she heard a discreet conversation just behind the aisle she was in.

Due to curiosity, she decided to peek and eavesdrop.

It was Gui, head hung down while a guy, standing 177cm tall, with ash-reddish brown hair infront of her, reading the love letter she made. After a few seconds, he breathed out a smirk and looked at her.

"So you asked me to go here because of this?" he started. Gui replied with a slow nod. "How boring."

Hebe discreetly gasped when the guy named Aaron tore the letter into pieces infront of Gui.

"Sorry. NOT INTERESTED."

OUCH.
HE JUST DUMPED HER IN A RATHER CRUEL WAY.

He then sprinkled the pieces of paper on the floor.

"It's your trash so you throw it away, and don't ever think that just because you're childhood friends with my brother, doesn't mean I'm the same as him. Get real." his last words before leaving her to pick the pieces up and cry. Seeing the scene made Hebe want to help, but this scene feels like Gui needed to be alone. The embarrassment was just too much.

"Formula is A^2 plus R=ON" Hebe gritted her teeth, erasing the formula that she just wrote until her pencil ran out of lead. A page of her notebook was filled with 'Aaron', and some stick people getting brutally killed, and is labeled Aaron. She was virtually killing him inside her mind.

"I HATE THAT GUY!! 'It's your trash so you throw it away', JERK!!! IS HE EVEN HUMAN?! I HATE HIMMMM!!!!!!!"

"OMG!! Twelve over fifty!" Hebe happily cheered as she got her corrected exams the next day. "I just shaded all straight A's and I did better! At least scoring twelve is better than scoring three." she giggled. She then happily turned to Gui who was writing some notes on her notebook.

"Gui! Since it's the highest score I had in months, I'm going to treat you!"

"Wow~ Congratulations!!! Tomorrow then. I can't... today. I have to talk to someone." Gui smiled.

"Oh... okay then."

Lunchtime.

Hebe got herself a large cup of iced tea and a serving of dimsum noodles while she looked for a table in the cafeteria. Since it was rather crowded, there wasn't an available seat, but she saw a rather familiar guy in one of those tables.

A.A.R.O.N. 
She was seeing red. 
That no-good bastard.

Hebe then shifted her attention to Gui who was walking towards the table where Aaron was sitting with his friends. Probably, Aaron called her up to say sorry. But something's off. He has black hair now... probably he got scared because Gui has lots of friends and admirers that are hunting for him now. HAH. The coward.

"Hmph. He's gonna apologize?" Hebe stated and decided to approach him as he stood up to place the tray towards the container.

Gui stopped in her tracks when she noticed Hebe approaching the said guy and watched the scene curiously.

Hebe called his attention not far from his friends' table. The guy turned to her, then smiled, saying,

"Yes?"

Everyone gasped, especially Gui when Hebe got her iced tea and threw it at his face, making him in a cold, wet, and rather sticky situation. Everyone saw this, especially his friends. He was wet all over his hair... face... and clothes.

"Feeling embarrassed?! THAT DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE TO WHAT YOU DID TO GUI YESTERDAY!! So you think you're cool by being on top and dumping girls, huh? YOU'RE SUCH AN !!!"

The black haired guy pursed his lips, wiping his face with his hand.

After spouting everything she wanted to, she exhaled and glanced around the cafeteria, and everyone was looking at her with their jaws dropped. Hebe breathed out a smirk and threw the plastic cup at his face.

"Jerkkk!!"

Her last words before she left the cafeteria, calmly walking back towards the classroom to have her lunch there.
