Hack tip: Pretty photos
The guide to applyfic worldHere's one for those that gets their photos stretched that it kind of ruins it.
Bit of an example.
Imagine if the picture box is 220 x 360, but your picture's dimension is 768 x 1024
So of course, you try to set it up at 220 x 360.
The photo fits in at that size, but the dimension does look weird.
So this is the solution: online photo editor.
I personally use lunapic (link here), but i'm not sure of other aff users.
this tutorial specifically deal with this app.
1) go to the page.
2) in the 'open url' section, type in the link of your picture. Then, click 'Go'.
3) This will appear. Since we want to adjust the size, click 'Crop'.
4) Here's how to crop the dimensions without sacrificing the whole parts.
We want a 220x360 size, but we want the whole face.
The original is 768 x 1024.
For its width, find the closest multiplication from 220 to 768.
220 x 1= 220
220 x 2 = 440
220 x 3 = 660
220 x 4 = 880
Since 880 is over the width, we must choose 660 as the width.
So, for the height, the size must be multiplied by 3 too.
360 x 3 = 1080, which is past over 1024.
So the most ideal height should have been 360 x 2= 720.
But 440 x 720 takes up a very small space.
Which, isn't really what was wanted.
The solution is to at least multiply it by .5 (e.g. 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, etc.)
2.5 x 220= 550
2.5 x 360= 900
Looks a little better.
Or, if it still doesn't suit you, try another picture.
5) Type in your preferred size in the two white boxes.
6) Then, click 'crop img'.
7) Did you notice the 'Share in' part? Click any of them (I usually use imgur)
8) and so, use the url to paste to your aff things!
Q: Canta, the size is not exact.
A: Don't worry too much of it. Usually, the size is only off by 1 px or so, just adjust it to your size.
A/N: This is exhausting.
