Congratulations on winning 2nd place in Young Blood: A Writing Contest!

The beauty of this story, in my eyes, is in the carefully woven together details and beautiful imagery. You did a wonderful job giving life to Chaeyoung’s heightened “other” senses. I enjoyed the slow build of tension and romance as Taehyun grappled with his own guilt and desires. At times the story seemed one sided as far as Chaeyoung’s perspective, but was made up for in other ways through world building and atmospheric details. I agree the ending was a little rushed (due to this contest’s deadline haha!) but it was still sweet and satisfying. The story was wrapped up in a way that was heartwarming and left me with a smile on my face. I was really rooting for Chaeyoung and Taehyun to find peace with each other.

Chapter 5: ohmygosh this is really beautiful. I teared up at the last chapter and your way of words... gosh, just wow. I feel like I'm reading a poem. I'm apologize for what I'm going to say next but I felt like you're making love with words. More like, using boring words and molding them into something amazing, something magical. The story feels so alive, you know? It tugs the heartstrings so well that you can't help but feel warm. I'd say that this is not the typical angst you'd read, given the depression and panic attacks Taehyun had going on, overall, the feel was just... you know, something light, something that you know will lead to someplace else where they can have a happy ending too. Taehyun's character development was justified so well, his guilt and how he moved on from that. And most surprisingly, from the person he didn't expect the most. A healing journey for him to finally forgive himself. There is not one scene where it's not lacking. In fact, I think you gave us so much, yet without going overboard at the same time. There's a warm feeling in my chest as I read all of this in one sitting. The length of every chapter was just right, enough to keep the readers' focused. It's like I'm entranced to keep clicking the 'next' button. Rose x Taehyun was a surprising pairing but as you read the story, you'll understand why. The characters you dressed them in fit their personality in real life as well, maybe that's why the characters in the story felt so real, so relatable, you know? It may be short but woah, you made it all worthwhile. Bravo, authornim. I sincerely wish you the best in the writing contest. I think you have a winning piece right here.

Chapter 5: Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful! I couldn't form words after reading the last chapter. I was in awe, really. <3
I loved how you touched serious issues like panic attacks, guilt and depression in the story yet you could grasp the emotions so well, you've done an amazing job! You portrayed the problems realistically and you didn't romanticise them. On top of that, it was a story of a progress, of how Taehyun could see the world in colours again. So I can say that it was like a recovery, a healing process. I personally loved every single part of this journey but the last chapter was the icing on the cake. I wouldn't think that Taehyun wanted to organise an art exhibition with her paintings but he was so thoughtful and very very gentle. I couldn't help but laugh when he tried to ask whether she was free the other day, it actually sounded like asking her out. We haven't seen this flustered side of him, he was so cute! ^^ I'm so glad that Chaeyoung's parents approved of the idea. Maybe they need a bit more time until they can forget him, if not then at least they can learn how to start putting the blame on him but it was realistic this way. Not to mention that Chaeyoung's dream finally came true! I'm so happy for her. She deserved to be recognized and now she can sell her works for real! I'm super happy, it didn't cross my mind that this would happen at the end of the story. ^^
All in all, thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful and meaningful story with us! <3 The message is real, raw and honest and I think all of us can make use of it sooner or later. It's important to forgive others but it's even more important to forgive ourselves. Thank you for everything, honey! This story definitely has a special place in my heart. <3 Good luck with the contest, too. I'm sure you will nail it! <3

Chapter 4: I was so excited throughout the chapter, I sensed some kind of change from the beginning because Taehyun had quite ambivalent feelings. I've never thought that Chaeyoung's father would show up. I got so scared! I believed that his father would punch the boy in the face and Chaeyoung would like to separate them and she would get hurt... Thank God it didn't happen. ^^
I'm so happy that she still supports him, he really needs her constant support. I hope things would get better for them. Kudos for you for the intense scene and the description! It was amazing! I can't wait to read more! <3

Chapter 3: Oh god!! This is so amazing! I'm glad Taehyun decides to try with her, she's a lively girl and I think she can feel the sadness in Taehyun, it doesn't matter if she doesn't see it, Sometime words speak more than picture. It's absolutely fantastic, good job♡
