"So... heard the news?" Donghyun asked his dongsaengs who all looked distressed and disheartened about the most recent news from the music industry.

While trying to patiently wait for their promised Korean Comeback, Y* Entertainment suddenly released a statement that they will have trainees do a debut under the name 'Boyfriend' on May 26.

The memebrs of St*rship Entertainment's Boyfriend couldn't help but feel threatened and disappointed that their agency hasan't done anything about that latest news. If St*rship continues on with their silence, Boyfriend may face being disbanded because losing their name would mean that they've lost chance to remain in the music industry.

"... I hate St*rship." Jeongmin mumbled which earned him a nudge from Hyunseong.

"Jeongmin-ah."

"It's true! St*rship told us that we'll have a comeback in the first half of the year! It's almost near our 6th anniversary and near June but we haven't heard even a single peep from them! With the solo projects they've been giving us, it's like they're training us to be apart!" The hyung line's dongsaeng exclaimed.

"I don't want to stop believing that we'll have a comeback but..." Minwoo trailed off.

"With how things are going, it's something that's very possible. You know, being disbanded..." Jeongmin let out a shaky sigh as he slumped against the backrest of the couch.

"Even if they disband us as Boyfriend, I don't want to be without you guys. We've been together for the last six years, I don't think it's time to change it now." The leader announced and received nods from his dongsaengs.

"Let's just stay strong together. No matter what happens, we'll always be Boyfriend. Maybe not for St*rship, but definitely for our Besfriends who still believe in us." Kwangmin said and all the members smiled. They could always count on him to say the right thing at the right time.

"Yeah, that's right. By the way, Kwangmin and I saw a petition on the net while we were browsing earlier. Our Bestfriends made an online petition reaching out to both Y* Entertainment and St*rship about what happened. A lot of our fands signed the petition." Youngmin mentioned as he pulled out the tablet and showed his co-members the petition.

"Whoa... That's a lot of signatures!"

"There's so many of them!"

"Try to refresh it!"

Kwangmin clicked on the button and the numbers jumped up some more. Seeing how hard their fans were working on trying to save them brought tears to the eyes of the members. Minwoo read the English comments underneath and translated them into Korean which pulled on their heartstrings.

"Kwangminnie's right. Maybe St*rship wasn't right for us, but we're definitely right for our Bestfriends."

-"Yeah!"-

"Boys!" Their manager, Cho Hansuk, suddenly entered the practice room, effectively suprising the members of Boyfriend.

"What's it, manager-nim?"

The manager looked at each of his talents and the serious expression on his face brought back the worry that the members have just managed to stamp down.

"I know you guys are aware of what's happening between Y* and St*rship at the moment."

"Yeah, we are." Donghyun tried to make his voice firmer as he answered.

"I have decided to transfer all of you to a different agency. I've tried to speak with the higher management but have yet to receive a response from them. I don't want you guys to continue suffering under St*rship's empty promises, so I decided to sign you all under a different agency in Japan."

-"What!?"-

-"Manager-nim!"-

"If we do that... we won't be Boyfriend anymore..." Kwangmin muttered under his breath with tears gathering in his eyes.

"How can you do this to us!?" Jeongmin shouted.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier before you did that, Manager Cho?" Donghyun asked.

"Because it will be for the better."

"Boyfriend will still be Boyfriend even if you're not in Korea." a new voice suddenly said which surprised the boy group members.

All of them looked at the person who just entered the room and saw a woman around her 20's holding a bunch of folders.

"I'm Kato Yukina and I'll be your new manager. I know you guys have things to say but please her me out first."

Yukina closed the door and faced the group of six who had disappointed expressions and tears in their eyes. The woman's heart broke upon seeing her new talents' betrayed expressions.

"I know how unethical it was for all of you to have not been notified about the sudden change of management. However, Cho-san and I agreed that since Boyfriend wasn't being taken cared of by St*rship, you boys should be transferred to a different agency. I know this wasn't what you expected since you've been promised of a Korean Comeback, but we just couldn't stay still knowing that your status in the industry was being threatened and St*rship has not made any action to save you guys.

I know what I'm saying is harsh but it's the truth that we all have to face. I offered Cho-san that I'll take you all under my wing, so that you'll still be the one and only Boyfriend the Bestfriends loved. I've seen the online petition about Y* and their unit, that's why I've already filed a case against them with regards to the name and debut date that should only be used by the original Boyfriend Group. The charges should make Y* think twice about proceeding with their talent's details.

I also know that the transition from Korean Homebase to Japanese was a shock to you guys, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that you will still stand atop a Korean concert stage for a Korean Comeback, if you guys can just give me a chance." Yukina looked at her new talents who were all surprised and uncertain with what she just promised them.

"Why're you doing this, Kato-san? It's too much... You've filed a case against another company and you're promising us a Korean Comeback when our very own agency left us... We just... We don't udnerstand why you're going to such lengths for us... You've only ment us today..." Donghyun asked as he patted Minwoo on the shoulder since the maknae has been in tears, along with the twins.

"That's where you're wrong, Donghyun-ah. I've know about you guys since 2011. I've been a part of Besfriend since you debuted, so I've known you guys for a while now. Even though I'm from a different country, I've been a part of Bestfriend for the last 6 years, that's why I'm going through these lengths. I don't want to lose you guys." Yukina announced with a smile.

-"Whoa!"-

"Is that for real?"

"This is so unexpected!"

"Can I cry now?"

"You're already crying, pabo-ya."

"That's why I'm hoping that we can work together because just like you guys, I want you to perform here in Korea and be the starts I've always known you guys can be."

"Can we hug you?" Kwangmin asked through his tears. Yukina felt her heart melt at the younger twin's adorable look.

"Sure thing."

The members of Boyfriend all hugged their new manager and also included Manager Cho in their group hug.

"Be safe and be good, boys. I'll always treasure the years that I was your manager." Cho said to his soon-to-be-former talents.

-"Manager-nim..!"-

The next few minutes were all waterworks between the boys and their Korean manager. Yukina, on the other hand, went to the table and laid her folders on top of the glass as she let her new talents spend time with Cho.

"Yukina-san, we'll do it. We'll be in your care." Donghyun said as he approached their new manager with his co-members.

"Great!"

"By the way, may we know under what agency are we going to be?"

"Oh, I didn't tell you? It's S*ny Music." Yukina blinked innocently as if she hadn't just dropped a bomb on the boy group.

-"What!?"-

-"S-S*ny Music!?"-

-"That's a big shot company!"-

-"Oh my God!"-

-"Are you for real!?"-

-"Unbelievable!"-

"You better believe it, guys. That's why I'm promising you right here, right now that I'll give you guys a Korean Comeback. I'll make it possible."

-"Kamsahamnida!"-

"Don't thank me yet, because I have your first assignment that I need you all to complete."

-"What is it?"-

"On your debut anniversary five days from now, I'd like you to make a video for all the Bestfriends who are distraught because of the situation. You may do what you want, say what you want. Although, they'll most probably be relieved if they find out that you all will belong to a different agency. Please do keep the details as vague as possible about St*rship, but I'm sure that some Bestfriends will already have an idea."

The boy group exchanged determined looks and nodded at their new manager.

"Got it. We'll be sure to make that video. We'll also have to thank our Bestfriends because they stayed with us through thick and thin."

-"You can count on us."-

"Awesome! So now, kindly read and sign the contact so that you'll be officially S*ny Music's talents.I'll book your flight to Japan and arrange the place where you'd be staying so that we can better discuss the plans I have for you."

"We'll already have a place to stay even though we haven't started yet?"

"That's right. I'll try to arrange that as soon as possible."

Yukina then pulled out her phone and made an overseas call to make the necessary arrangements for the boy group.

"Hey, Hyung. What do you think is Yukina-san's position in S*ny Music? I'm just curious because it's like she can do almost anything even on a whim." Minwoo asked after he signed the contract.

"Kato-sshi is the head of Talen Acquisition. S*ny doesn't doubt her choice and taste in talents because even though they were few, the idols that she handpicked and personally managed often ranked in Oricon's top artists." Cho answered.

"And we're really going to be handled by her?"

"Yeah. That's the reason why I know you're in good hands."

"How'd she find out, though? That we're going into crisis?"

"Well, she did say she's part of Besfriend, right? She could also be waiting for your comeback like all the other fans,s o when she found out, she immediately offered a resolution."

"Wow, to think that someone working at S*ny recognized us."

"Correct. So you all shouldn't feel too down. Kato-sshi will take care of you well."

"Okay, I managed to fix up your flight on the 29th so you can still spend time with your family and friends before we go to Japan. I'll message you the place where we'll meet for the flight, alright?"

-"Nae."-

"Now that we're set, I'll see you guys soon! I'll handle the matters between Y* and St*rship so don't worry about them anymore."

-"Thank you very much, Yukina-san."-

"You're welcome~ See ya!"

"Oh my God... I'm nervous."

"I'm shaking."

"Why does it feel like our first performance over again?"

"My stomach's churning."

"That's just because you ate too much."

"Boys, chill. You're also making me nervous here and I'm the first to speak." Donghyuns aid as he looked at his dongsaengs who were all panicking.

-"But Hyung...!"-

"Hi, guys! Sorry I'm late. I had to finish something first." Yukina said as she rushed to the videocamera on the tripod and connected it to the laptop she was carrying.

-"Yukina-san!"-

Said manager looked at her talents who were seated on the couch at the meeting room and she gently smiled at them after seeing their anxious expressions.

"You'll all be fine. Just speak in a manner that's natural for you. You boys are good at speaking what's inside your heart so just do that. Don't worry about translating what you're saying. I have friends who will translate them to different languages. Are you guys ready?"

The members of Boyfriend all took deep breaths and nodded, so Yukina started recording the video then signalled the men to start.

"I'm your-"

-"Boyfriend! Annyeong haseyo, Boyfriend imnida."- Biyfriend said with their salute and bow towards the camera.

"Hi, everyone! We're Boyfriend and we have an announcement to make." Donghyun exchanged a look with his dongsaengs and they all nodded.

"This coming June, we'll be under a different talent agency. With the recent issue that has gone viral over the net, our Korean manager decided that it was high time for us to change agencies for us to be able to keep our name and stay in the industry. We know it's a sudden news and honestly, we're still in shock at the moment because one second, we were on the verge of giving up then suddenly, we were chosen and adopted by a different agency where we already have some projects lined up for us." The leader started.

"This coming June, we'll be handed by an agency in Japan, so we'll be staying there for our new projects, Our new manager has already promised us that we will have a Korean Comeback so please do look forward to that." Jeongmin added.

"To our Bestfriends who have stayed with us through thick and thin, for believing in us when we were ready to give up, for loving us and showing your support that we were worth it and deserving to be int he music industry... we cannot find enough words of gratitude to express how thankful we are for all of you so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so, so much." Kwangmin ended with a grateful smile.

-"Thank you so much!"-

-"Saranghae!"-

-"We love you!"-

Beside the camera, Yukian couldn't help but tear up because even though the boys have faced hardships, they still loved their fans wholeheartedly. That's why she decided that the boys will definitely have their much deserved Korean Comeback.

"Today is May 26th. Do you guys know what that means?" Donghyun asked in general.

"It's our 6th anniversary!: Kwangmin energetically answered.

"It's also Boyfriend's 6th anniversary with the Bestfriends!" Youngmin added.

"I honestly didn't think that we'd be able to reach our 6th anniversary together... but I'm glad to still be a part of Boyfriend even now!" Jeongmin said to the camera with tears in his eyes.

"From here on, Boyfriend will continue moving forward. We'll have the stength to go on because we know we're not alone." Hyunseong had a gentle smile directed at the camera.

"Each of us have been a huge part of everybody's lives and we also know that somehow, we became a part of our Bestfriends' lives too. That's why for this year as well, we'll be making new memories together." Minwoo said.

"By the way, we're all celebrating here but what about the other company's..." Donghyun trailed off carefully as he threaded on the sensitive topic of Y*'s trainees.

The members of the boy group directed their gaze towards their manager who scribbled something on the sketchbook she brought along. With a huge grin, Yukina turned the sketchbook around and showed what she wrote to her talents, who all gasped and shakily stood up.

"For real...?" Minwoo asked and received a nod.

Kwangmin hurriedly ran from his place to Yukina to borrow the sketchbook. Yukina patted the young twin on the back and motioned for him to bring the sketchbook along to show the camera what was written.

"The case filed against Y* Entertainment about their new talents and the name of the original Boyfriend was won by S*ny Music. This means that Boyfriend will be the only boy group called with that name in Korea's music industry." The younger twin read.

"So... we'll keep our name? We get to be the one and only Boyfriend...?" Jeongmin looked at their managre who grinned and nodded.

-"Yes!"-

-"We're still Boyfriend!"-

-"Boyfriend forever!"-

-"I love you, guys!"-

-"I'm so glad!"-

-"Congratulations!"-

The group said as they hugged each other with smiles and tears. Yukina quietly clapped beside the camera as she proudly looked at her talents.

"Manager-san, thank you so much!"

"Thank you for fighting for us!"

"Saranghae, manager!"

"Thank you to S*ny, too!"

"Thanks for helping us keep our identity!"

"We won't let you down!"

After the video has ended, the boys immediately checked their phones and tablets to read the comments on their livestream video. All of them red the full support from their Besfriends who expressed their relief and wishes for their success under the new management, as well as their congratulatory words for the case they won. While there were quite a few who were skeptical since their location will be in Japan, the boy group promissed themselves that they will do everything they could to assure their Bestfriends that Boyfriend will stand firm in the music industry.
