Kihyun sighed as he closed the wooden painted door. He felt a sudden lump formed in
his throat. He quietly arranged his step towards his bedroom. The king size bed seems
alluring as it was attracting kihyun to sleep on it. But kihyun didn't fell for it instead he
looked away and made his way to the corner of the room and took the big baby blue luggage
and dropped it quite harshly onto the center of the room. He took everything that he could
reach and shove it into the luggage. He didn't care what he took because he was so tired.
After finish ‘packaging’ he went back to the wooden painted door and turn the doorknob.
He saw his 4 years old son still running around the room and took his belonging before
shoving it into his cute Rilakkuma luggage. “changkyunie. Are you done?” kihyun asked as he entered his son’s room.
“I- I d-don't kn-know if I ha-had pack-ed en-n-enough.”
Kihyun gave his stuttering son a soft smile and helped his son to pack.
Kihyun knew his son was not normal. Ever since changkyun was little, the boy cannot seems
to form a correct word. At first kihyun thought it was normal and consider it was part of
learning and hoping that changkyun will get better in pronouncing words. But it gets worst from
time to time and he didn't put blame on anyone else except for his husband.
Flashback-
A year ago...
“Stop hitting him!” kihyun screamed as he wrapped his hand around the small fragile
body securely.
“This brat is useless! He poured the water on my paperwork and now I have to start all over
again! Didn't you teach this kid any manner?”
“jongguk, he is just a kid!” kihyun fight back.
Jongguk screamed and shout before he walked away and went out not forgetting to close
the door harshly.
“eo-eom-ma, d-d-daddy h-hate me?” changkyun asked in a quiet voice.
“No sweetheart, he loves you. He was just stressed out.” kihyun said as he
Changkyun’s  hair softly.

Kihyun was so tired and he wanted nothing else than to go home and have a comforting
warm bath. As soon as he opened the door to his ‘sweet’ home.
“I’m ba-“
Kihyun choked on his words upon seeing the sight that greeted him. Jongguk was
holding a belt while changkyun was crouching on the floor, trembling in fear.
Without uttering a single word, kihyun quickly ran towards changkyun and pulled the little one
in his embraced.
“I want him out from this place. I don’t have a son!” jongguk said in a drunken state before
making his way out from the house.
Kihyun can’t take it any longer and he decided to do one thing. Run.
“eo-eom-ma. Whe-re are w-we go-ing?” changkyun asked as both of them managed to escape
the so call sweet home.
Kihyun hold on to changkyun’s small wrist and dragged the kid with him.
“eomma is going to take you somewhere safe.”

Kihyun bit his bottom lips and looked down on the floor with changkyun clutching tightly to the
hem of his shirt.
“kihyun, may I help you?”
Kihyun flinched upon hearing the deep velvety voice.
“Umm, hyunwoo-ssi,. I… Ummm..” kihyun wanted to punch himself because he wasn’t
prepared.
The man who was hovering kihyun, eyed him curiously.
“I would like to use the basement store room at the book store to stay for the night. Is it
okay?”
It took a moment before the taller male respond a simple “Why?”
“Ummm, there is a problem in my house and I need a place to stay. I promise you, it’s only
for a day.” kihyun said pleadingly.
Hyunwoo looked at kihyun for a while before he finally realized the presence of the
smaller one. Changyun felt the taller gaze was on him, so he scooted closer and hid behind
Kihyun.
Hyunwoo also realized the two luggage which told him that it was not a small problem. He
sighed before stepping aside and open the door wider.
Kihyun looked at his manager confusedly.
“Come in.”
Kihyun blinked his eyes a few times before he managed to in hyunwoo’s word.
“No, it’s okay. I just need your permission to- Aaagh!”
Kihyun let out an unmanly scream upon hearing the sound of the thunder.
“I insist.” hyunwoo was trying so hard to suppress his chuckled.
Kihyun was embarrassed and he decided to obey. Hyunwoo helped kihyun and
Changkyun carry their luggage into his house.
Kihyun eyes glowed upon seeing the interior of the house. It was a double story house
with a beautiful cream colored painted wall along with a mix of black and white furniture.
“eom-ma! L-look! Fi-fish! The-there's man-many of the-m!” kihyun looked around and saw that changkyun was standing in front of huge tank of aquarium
filled with different species of fish.
“chankyun! You can't walk around people’s house like that.” kihyun quickly ran to his son
and took the smaller boy with him.
“It's okay kihyun.”
Kihyun felt giddy when he heard his name rolling out from hyunwoo’s mouth. Huynwoo
level down to match chankyun’s eye level. Changkyun blinked his eyes a few time as he eyed the
guy in front of him curiously.
“You are so adorable.”
Changkyun blushed upon hearing hyunwoo complimenting him.
“N-no I’m n-not.”
“No? But to me, you are adorable.” hyunwoo said before flashing the boy a wide smile.
Kihyun felt his heart had skip a few beats upon seeing hyunwoo interacting with his son.
All this while, people will only look down at him because of changkyun’s problem in forming a
complete word properly. They kept on blaming kihyun for not educating changkyun properly.
He felt so depressed and he felt useless because he couldn't do anything to help his son.

Jongguk was not helping either. All he had done was scolding and hitting his son. Kihyun was tired.
“kihyun.”
Feeling a sudden warmth on his shoulder brought kihyun back to his sense.
“Why are you crying?”
Kihyun widened his eyes upon hearing hyunwoo question. He didn't even realized that
he was crying.
“It's nothing.” kihyun. Let out an awkward laugh while wiping his tears away.
Hyunwoo sighed and removed his hand from kihyun’s shoulder.
“The guest room is on the second floor. Come, I will show you.”
Kihyun nodded and trailed behind the giant along with changkyun. Once they arrived at the
white painted door, hyunwoo twisted the doorknob and soon they were greeted by a warm
and cozy view. Inside the room, there was a queen size bed, a medium size closet, a set of
study table and a huge fluffy white carpet sprawled on the floor.
“I hope you like it.”
Changkyun quickly ran into the room and climbed on the bed. He jumped for a few times before
he happily lay down on the bed and embraced the warmth of the mattress.
“eo-mma, it-its so com-comfy.” changkyun smiled and rolled around causing kihyun to smile at
his son.
“Thank you so much hyunwoo-ssi. I promise you that it will only be tonight.” kihyun
bowed a few times.
“kihyun.”
Upon hearing the demanding voice, kihyun stopped bowing and stood straight.
“You can stay here as long as you want.”kihyun's eyes were about to popped out from its socket.
“Seeing you two carrying those luggage, I don't think that you will be out for only a day.”
“Umm, you see…. That's because…”
“It's okay kihyun. You don't need to explain it. I'm sure you have your own reason and if
you want to tell me anything, I’m willing to hear it. So now, it's getting late and you have an
early shift tomorrow. Go and sleep.”
Kihyun felt tears were forming in his eyes. He just felt so grateful upon hearing hyunwoo’s word. Without waiting for any moment, kihyun launched himself forward and
hugged hyunwoo.
“Thank you so much hyunwoo-ssi. Thank you.”
Hyunwoo was stunned by the sudden attack. He relaxed when he felt that kihyun was
crying and his hand automatically reflex and patted the boy’s back in order to comfort him.
“eo-mma. I wa-want to s-sleep. It's re-really com-fort-table.” changkyun ran towards his eomma but
he stopped his track when he saw kihyun was hugging hyunwoo.
Kihyun quickly pulled away from the hug and wiped his tears away.
“eo-eom-ma. Are y-you o-okay?” changkyun went to hug his eomma’s leg protectively.
“Yes. I'm fine. I'm really happy because hyunwoo-ssi is really kind and I'm thanking him.”
Changkyun nodded in understandment and let go of kihyun’s leg. He slowly went towards
Hyunwoo and hugged hyunwoo’s long leg.
“T-than-thank y-you.”
Hyunwoo smiled and lifted the boy by his waist.
“You are so adorable.” hyunwoo said before spinning around happily with a handful of
laughing changkyun.

Hyunwoo stopped spinning and laughed along with changkyun.
“Now go to bed. It's getting late.” hyunwoo was about to put changkyun down but surprisingly
Changkyun shook his head and circled his wrist around hyunwoo’s neck with his cheek pressed
on hyunwoo’s shoulder.
Kihyun blinked his eyes in bewilderment. It was really surprising to see his son open up to
Hyunwoo . Kihyun decided to step forward. “hyunwoo-ssi need to sleep too.”
Changkyun pouted cutely as kihyun took him from hyunwoo.
“It's okay. We can play again tomorrow.” hyunwoo ruffled the smaller hair which causes the
boy to smile widely.
“hy-hyun-woo- ssi.” changkyun stretched out his arms and cupped hyunwoo’s face in his tiny
hands.

Hyunwoo was taken aback when changkyun placed a peck on his nose.
“Good-goodnight.” changkyun whispered softly.
“Goodnight, big guy.” hyunwoo smiled.
Kihyun was too mesmerized to see their interaction. He smiled a genuine smile as he
saw his son smiling while waving hyunwoo who was walking towards his bedroom which
was only next to theirs.

Kihyun stretched up as he turn off the alarm clock. He felt around the bed to snuggle with
his son but instead he was greeted by a cold surface. He slit his eyes wide open and indeed
there was no trace of his son.
“changkyunie!” kihyun called out and tried to scan around the room but there was no sign of the
smaller boy.
Kihyun quickly jumped out from the bed and went out from the room.
As he was walking down from the stairs he heard a familiar giggling sound coming from the
kitchen.
When he arrived at the kitchen he saw that changkyun and hyunwoo were siting at the dining table, 
with changkyun sitting on hyunwoo’s lap and a book in front of them.
“G f-for giraffe!” changkyun said in excitement.
“That's so good. Now how about E?”
“E for eli-elly-ellyp- ummm.” changkyun was stuck and he felt sad because he didn't know how to
pronounce it.
Hyunwoo  smiled and rubbed the boy’s shoulder.
“It's okay changkyunie. Now, repeat after me. Ele-“
“Ele-“
“Phant-“
“Phant-“
“Elephant.”
“ELEPHANT!” changkyun said in one go without stuttering.
“Good job “ hyunwoo cheered up and clapped his hands.
Changkyun showed off his toothy grin and clapped along. Kihyun didn't know how long he had
been standing there but the sound of his son calling him brought him back.
“eo-eom-ma! Lo-look, I'm rea-ding.” changkyun said proudly.
Kihyun smiled and walked towards them. He took a seat on the opposite.
“Is my changkyunie behaving?”
Changkyun nodded his head excitedly.

“hy-hyun-woo ah-ahjussi le-let me call h-him ah-ahjussi and s-sit on h-his lap. No-not like
d-daddy.” changkyun whispered the last sentence yet kihyun can still hear it.
Then silence filled up the room.
“kihyun.”
Kihyun who was lost in his thought came back to his sense.
“changkyun said that he stays with his daddy when you go to work.”
“OH MY GOD! I totally forgot. Changkyun can't go back there. But… Ughhhh. Why  didn't i think
about this sooner?” kihyun buried his face in his palms.
“Well, I don’t think it will be a problem if changkyun tag along with us.”
Kihyun quickly removed his hands from his face and his eyes were glowing.
“Really?”
Hyunwoo looked at kihyun in amusement.
“Yeah. Plus, changkyun is a good boy right?”
Changkyun quickly nodded his head which causes hyunwoo to chuckle.
“I don't know how to repay you hyunwoo-ssi. You are very nice to us.”
Kihyun pouted but then he lit up.
“How about I prepare us some breakfast?”
“It's okay. I actually made us some pancakes.” hyunwoo casually lifted changkyun and went
inside to the kitchen island. He handed one plate for changkyun to hold while he hold two plates
at the same time.
Kihyun watched in awe. Hyunwoo seems so handsome and manly which causes a blush
to creep on his face.
Hyunwoo carefully walked back to the dining table and place one plate in front of kihyun
before placing changkyun on a chair next to kihyun.

Kihyun eyed hyunwoo until the latter took a seat opposite to him.
“Thank you so much hyunwoo-ssi. I-I..”
“kihyun. Eat.”
Kihyun blushed and looked down at the pancakes with a blushed on his face.
They ate peacefully. From time to time hyunwoo would chuckle and lean forward to wipe
away the excess syrup at the corner of changkyun’s lips. Kihyun can't help but to feel like he
was part of a perfect family.hyunwoo took one last bite of his pancake and he was about to
take his plate but kihyun beats up his timing.
“Let me wash the dishes.” kihyun quickly took hyunwoo’s  plate and stack along with his
and changkyun's plates.
“You d-don't hav-have to.” hyunwoo said.
“It's okay, honey. It's part of my duty.”
Hyunwoo blinked his eyes once and then twice. Changkyun smiled his most beautiful smile while kihyun was still clueless. Sensing an awkward surrounding, kihyun turned to look at
Hyunwoo and changkyun.
“Is there anything wrong?” kihyun asked innocently.
“Yo-you ca-called hy-un-woo ah-ah-ahjussi, h-honey.” changkyun replied also innocently causing hyunwoo to blush.
“Oh my god! I'm so sorry, hyunwoo-ssi. I swear I didn’t mean to. I’ll just go and clean this up.” kihyun walked towards the sink in embarrassment.

Kihyun glanced every 5 minutes at his son who was doodling a coloring book that
Hyunwoo had bought him from his own bookstore a while ago happily seating by the reading
corner. Kihyun kept on resisting but hyunwoo wouldn't listen and bought a few more
books for changkyun.
The bookstore was an average size and it was link with the café which belongs to a married
couple name wonho and hyungwon. The couples were really fond of kihyun and they
usually save kihyun's favorite Chocolate Mousses as a treat. Apart from kihyun, there
were one other staff name minhyuk who had started to work around three months ago. The
boy seems to have his eyes on the cute chubby guy name jooheon who worked with
Wonho and hyungwon.
“Boo!”
Kihyun let out a high pitched scream causing changkyun to quickly run to his eomma’s side.
“Hahahahha! You should see your face!”
Kihyun glared at minhyuk who was having a hard time to catch his breath, 

“Eo-mm-a. A-are y-you ok-ay?” changkyun asked with his head tilted to the side.
Kihyun was about to answer but suddenly he saw hyunwoo walked towards their
direction.
“Is there anything wrong? I heard a girl screaming just now.”
minhyuk continued to laugh harder this time while kihyun pouted.

“I’m sorry hyunwoo-ssi. Minhyuk surprised me and I accidentally let out a high pitched scream.
I'm sorry.”
Hyunwoo chuckled and bent down to match changkyun’s eye level.
“Did you have fun today?”
changkyun nodded his head and ran somewhere before coming back with a book in his hand.
“L-look! Min-hyu-k h-hyun-hyung to-ught me to w-rite han-hangul.”
Changkyun flipped through a few pages. Kihyun gasped in surprised when he saw his name
written on the pages that changkyun was showing him. .
“That's really clever of you.” kihyun traced the words in the book with admiration.
“Why don't you praise me too?” minhyuk playfully pouted only to earn a flickered on the
forehead by none other than yoo kihyun himself.

“YOO KIHYUN!”
kihyun dropped the book that he was holding, eyes opened wide and body trembling in
fear. Changkyun quickly went to stand behind kihyun, clutching tightly to his eomma's pants.
Hyunwoo and minhyuk exchange confused looks.
“I KNOW YOU’RE IN HERE!”
Soon enough the owner of the authority voice came in view. The guy that kihyun had
tried so hard to run from.
“W-what a-are you doing here? H-how did you know I’m here?” kihyun held changkyun
close to him.
“Leaving the house for a day had turned you to a stuttering freak too? Just like that worthless child of
yours?” jongguk smirked and moved closer to kihyun and changkyun.
Before jongguk managed to reach out to touch kihyun,hyunwoo quickly stepped into
the scene and stood in front of the two trembling figures, preventing jongguk from getting any
closer to them.
“I’m sorry sir, but I need to stop you from creating a scene. This is a public place, filled with
customers and I don't want to scare them away. I really hope that you will understand.”

Hyunwoo said politely.
“Do you think I really care? Now move aside and let me take my properties back, then you
can continue to run this place peacefully.” jongguk merged forward only to be stopped once
again by hyunwoo.
“I don't think they want to go with you.” hyunwoo spoke a little bit firm this time.
“It's none of your business! MOVE AWAY!” jongguk used all his might to push hyunwoo
aside.
Kihyun and changkyun took a steps backward still in each other embraced.
“COME HERE YOU LITTLE PIECE- Ooff”
Luckily Hyunwoo was fast enough to pull jongguk away.
“minhyuk, take kihyun and changkyun to somewhere else. I’ll take care of this.”
Minhyuk nodded and quickly urged kihyun and his son to step out from the scene.
Hyunwoo turned around only to be greeted by a punch on his face. Jongguk laughed and
Threw another punch to hyunwoo’s stomach causing him to groan in pain.
“I already warned you to stay away!” jongguk took his chance to kick hyunwoo’s left leg, but hyunwoo dodged it skillfully.
Gifted with a strong body, hyunwoo managed to get hold of jongguk and pushed
him face against the wall.
Jongguk was struggling to free himself from hyunwoo but hyunwoo was way stronger than
he expected.
“STOP!”
Hyunwoo and jongguk looked to the side and saw two guys wearing a police uniform,
running towards them. One of them, pulled hyunwoo away from jongguk and the other guy
quickly get hold of jongguk, preventing him from escaping.
Wonho and hyungwon came to the scene and stood next to hyunwoo.
“I’m the one who call the cops.” wonho said  throwing death glares at jongguk.
“kim jongguk. We’ve been searching for you for quite a long time.” The blonde haired cops
who was holding jongguk smirked as he handcuffed the guy without any mercy.
“You’ve been searching for him?” hyunwoo asked.
“I’m Inspector chanyeol and the blonde guy is baekhyun. We’re on the mission to catch the smugglers
who managed to escape during our attack a few days ago. We managed to find the rest of
them except for this guy. Seems like the last one just had to be found inside the bookstore.”
The inspector explained.
“You are a smuggler?”
All eyes turned to meet with a figure whose droopy eyes had turned red due to crying,
shoulders slumped due to exhaustion and heartache after knowing his husband real work.
“You lied to me!”
“ki, baby, liste-“
“YOU LIED TO US! YOU TREATED US LIKE  GARBAGES ,BUT YET YOU ARE THE GARBAGE
ITSELF! I’M GLAD THAT YOU ARE CAUGHT! I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE
ANYMORE AND I DON’T WANT YOU TO COME NEAR ME OR  CHANGKYUN! WE ARE DONE
KIM JONGGUK! WE ARE DONE! I’M NO LONGER LEGAL TO YOU BECAUSE I WILL
REQUEST FOR A DIVORCE! FULLSTOP!”
kihyun’s chest rose up and down as he was breathing heavily. All the things that were kept
inside him was already out and he felt much lighter, knowing that he is a freeman now. Tears made their way down his cheeks. Soon enough he felt warm, when a pair
of arms pulled him in for a hug causing him to continue crying.
“It's okay ki.It's all over now.” said hyunwoo trying his best to calm the crying mess in
his arms.
“H-He’s g-gone r-ight? He-he wo-won't hu-hurt me and changkyun any-anymore right?”
Kihyun asked between sobbs.
“No ki. I’ll protect you. No! I’ll protect both you and changkyun.” hyunwoo rubbed kihyun's
back gently.
As both of them were cherishing the comfortable warmth of each other, a  figure suddenly
decided to join the hug by wriggling himself between kihyun and hyunwoo.
“I w-wa-want a h-hug t-too.” changkyun  smiled sheepishly and squished himself, trapping himself
between the two figures who were looking at him with a smile on their face.
“My, my. What a beautiful sight.” wonho said as he leaned against hyungwon’s shoulder, while
Hyungwon was holding wonho closer to him.
“My, my. When will we get the chance to hug like those two couples?” minhyuk muttered as
he stood closer to jooheon who replied with a small smile and hint of blush.

Three years later,
“DADDY!!”
The seven years old changkyun ran happily into the bookstore along with minhyuk with a piece
of paper in his hand and a broad smile on his face. Apart from being one of the worker in
the bookstore, minhyuk  now had a new task which was to pick up changkyun from school and
bring the boy back to the bookstore.
“Calm down, buddy. What's up?” hyunwoo asked curiously while changkyun eyed his daddy with
a smile still plastered on his small face.
Yup! That's right! Hyunwoo and kihyun were legally married to each other last year. After
that  incident hyunwoo begged kihyun and changkyun to stay at his place though
Kihyun had declined it too many times but finally gave up when hyunwoo decided to pull
out the kicked puppy face.
Their relationship started from manager and worker to friends, soon to best friends followed
by boyfriends and finally end up as a married couple.
It took hyunwoo a lot of energy and a lot of courage to propose to kihyun. He even
called his mom and dad to ask for tips and they kept on ensuring him that everything's going
to be just fine.  Hyunwoo's parents grew fond of kihyun and changkyun when they decided to
visit hyunwoo. They kept on leeching to kihyun and changkyun up to the point where
Hyunwoo needed to beg them to give him some attention too.
“I got full mark on every subject and my homeroom teacher said that I could join the school
field trip for free as a present!” changkyun said and jumped around cheerfully.
Hyunwoo grinned widely as he swiftly lifted changkyun from the ground and swirled around, not
forgetting to shower changkyun’s face with lot of kisses. Changkyun had improved a lot. He can
finally speak without stuttering. He was struggling a little at first but he never gave up. He
spent his free time practicing with minhyuk, sometimes hyungwon will join and teach him new
words and of course hyunwoo.
His new father always read him a bedtime story and he loves it. He wouldn't trade it for
anything. After dinner, he will make sure to complete his diary and wait for hyunwoo to come to his room. Yup, the once guest room had officially turned to changkyun’s room and
Kihyun had officially moved into hyunwoo’s room. If hyunwoo was busy, kihyun will
read the bedtime story for him instead. Now, he can read a whole fairy tale story without
stuttering and he had participated in a story telling competition last month. Kihyun can’t
be happier than he already was, with hyunwoo and changkyun by his side.
“Congratulations! I’m so proud of you~” hyunwoo finally stopped twirling after hearing changkyun
giggling and begging his father to stop.
“hyunie, changkyunie.”
Hyunwoo and changkyun turn to look at kihyun who had a questioning looked on his face as
he eyed them. Changkyun was still in hyunwoo’s  arm when hyunwoo decided to move closer to
Kihyun.
“eomma! I came first in the test and I get to go to the field trip for free!” changkyun cheered happily and
went to hug kihyun once hyunwoo put him down.
Careful not to hug tightly as he was afraid that he will hurt the baby inside his eomma’s tummy.
Yup! kihyun is pregnant, and he was on the 5th month. Despite his pregnant state,
Kihyun stubbornly insist that he will still come to work. Hyunwoo gave up on prying
Kihyun to stay home once the latter gave him cold shoulders for two days straight.
“Are you okay, baby? Do you want to go and rest?” hyunwoo asked as he carefully took
Kihyun’s wrist and left a butterfly kiss on the pregnant male knuckle.
“I’m fine, hyunie.” kihyun chuckled and pinched hyunwoo’s cheeks playfully only to have
Changkyun giggling,
“changkyun~”
“wonho Mama!” changkyun chirped happily and went to hug wonho, also not so tightly,
afraid to hurt the baby bump.
After a few years of trying, finally, wonho had gathered everyone to announce that he
was pregnant 7 months ago.
“I heard that you pass~ So, Mama had prepare your favorite brownies~”
Changkyun beamed in happiness and quickly ran to hyungwon who had set a plate of brownies on
Changkyun’s favorite table.
“wonho, you are pampering him.” kihyun pouted.
“It’s nothing kihyun. He was like my son and I really love him, we are all family right?”
Wonho gave kihyun a gentle smile and kihyun can only smile back at him.
“Thank you hyungwon Papa!” hyungwon ruffled changkyun’s hair playfully and accompanied changkyun to eat
and was soon joined by wonho.
Minhyuk and jooheon were being flirty as usual by one of the bookshelf. Although they were
already married for almost 2 months, both of them were acting as if they were falling in love
all over again. Kjhyun smiled when he looked at the couple.
“I can’t wait till the baby born.” hyunwoo caressed the baby bump lovingly as he stood
behind kihyun, head resting on kihyun’s shoulder.
“Me too.” kihyun turned to the side and locked his lips with hyunwoo.
“Is this place only for couple?” baekhyun asked curiously as he entered the bookstore and eyed
each couples in the bookstore with amusement.
“Hmm, a good place as a starter.” chanyeol said as he broke into a small smile.
“A starter? For what?” baekhyun asked him curiously.
“For us to become a couple.” chanyeol answered confidently.

Baekhyun blushed and hit chanyeol’s arm playfully.
