*Ring*Ring*Ring*

    ...once again.

He swore to himself that one of these days he would break that thing with a hammer. As if on cue he heard his grandma screaming at him. He got up from the bed and fixed himself for school as he headed downstairs. He took his time that morning. Baek wasn't gonna be coming to pick him up that day, or week for that matter. He said goodbye to his grandma and made his way to school. Once he had gotten there he looked around for Kris. He would be spending most of his time with him that week since he didn't really talk to other people. Or anyone at all for that matter.

When he spotted him he saw him with his other friends, all looking at something as if their life depended on it.  He turned to see what they were looking at and found it to be a couple, or at least that’s what it looked like. He decided to sneak up on him and about it.

“Are you jealous?” he said as he put an arm around Kris’s shoulders. “Man I can't believe that the first girl you ever like is already taken,” he said shaking his head a little.

“What the hell Chanyeol, it’s not like that” Kris said as he looked down avoiding Chanyeol’s gaze.

“Wait…” Chanyeol said as he added suspense to what he was about to say. “Then do you like the guy?” he asked as he started to laugh and Kris pushed him off.

They both laughed ‘till they heard the bell ring and they headed to their classes. Gosh, it was going to be lonely without Baekhyun around for a week.

He came into the room glad that Mr. Choi wasn’t there yet, or he would have been marked late. Once Mr. Choi came into the room and everyone had settled down he announced that a transfer student would be joining our class.

When the student came in he felt his cheeks get warm. He didn't know where she was looking, but he hoped it was at him. ‘Darn she’s hot,’ was the only thing he could think of. He saw her scan the room and quickly turned his head. He didn’t want to be caught staring.

He didn’t know what was going on around him, he was too busy trying to keep his eyes on the little dark spot that was on his desk. He was starting to see scratch it too but before he could do anything else he saw the girl sit down beside him from the corner of his eye. He decided that he would play it cool so he turned to her smiling, he felt awkward when he noticed that she wasn’t looking in his direction, but that wasn’t gonna stop him. He tapped her shoulder and put his smile up again. She turned to him a bit startled and he decided to introduce himself.

“Hey, my name’s Chanyeol,” he said while trying to bow a bit before he remembered that he was sitting down. ‘Stupid’ he thought to himself.

“Hi, nice to meet you I’m Haneul,” she said while repeating the bowing motion.

‘Is she making fun of me? crap’ is what he thought before he said “Nice to meet you too” and decided to turn away. He wanted to say something else, to make it seem like he was a cool guy, someone that she could talk to.
