Oh, how he hated that sound. Every morning it only meant one thing. HELL. Or the other name people prefer to call it, school. He still didn’t get why people bothered calling it that when his definition was obviously better, and more accurate. He hated school with all his might, if it wasn’t for Baekhyun-his best friend-who always came by at exactly the same time to drag him to school, he wouldn’t bother to even wake up. Well, him and his grandma who would beat his if he didn’t get more than a B in every freaking class. Although he didn’t really try. He gave all the credit for his passing grades in school to his guessing skills. He didn’t care for grades, or school in general for that matter.
“Yeollie!...Yeollie come and eat, Baekhyun will be here any time now!...” he laid down for a few more seconds when his door flew open to reveal his grandma holding a pan
“Get your lazy to the dining table this instant young man!! You do this every morning” she said as she smacked his head with her hand and threatened to hit him with the pan afterwards.
“I was getting up!! You just didn’t give me enough time to get out the bed!” He said as he tried to avoid his grandma’s hands (and the pan) flying at him. She treated him like a child at times. Although she HAD been taking care of him since he was 10, so he’ll give her that.
After he finished his breakfast and changed, a knock was heard “Just in time” he said as he adjusted his backpack’s straps around his shoulders. He opened the door to be greeted by a smiling Baekhyun. “Hey, you ready?” Baekhyun asked. Chanyeol nodded as he signaled for them to get going.
