015. Hotel – Writer’s Choice [Kikwang/Yoseob]

Kikwang and Yoseob stood in their hotel room awkwardly, their gazes avoiding each other. They were used to sharing rooms together since Beast could only fit so many rooms into their dorm. Even when they’re away they share rooms. The only issue with the room they were assigned this time was the bed issue. There was only one bed in the room.

“So … I guess you can take the bed hyung.” Kikwang offered.

Yoseob rubbed the back of his neck. “N-No you should take it. You just got over your ankle injury. Take the bed.”

“I’m sure Yoon Leader would rather that you take it since you’re older.” Kikwang continued.

“That’s totally fine. Go ahead and take it.” Yoseob threw his bag onto the floor, kicking off his shoes.

Kikwang followed his example, rolling around his ankle, loosening it. “I don’t get why they let us have the biggest room.”

“I don’t get why the biggest room has only one bed. We can always order a cot now that I’m thinking of it.” Yoseob ran his fingers through his freshly cut hair, shuffling over to the phone in their room.

Kikwang watched as his friend picked the phone up and put it to his ear. He turned around, taking a look around. A loud slamming noise behind him made him spin back around.

“What happened?” the dancer asked.

“The phone isn’t working.” Yoseob sighed.

“So, now what do we do?”

“I don’t know. I guess we’ll have to share a bed. I’m tired and you’re tired. Doojoon hyung will kill me if I let you sleep on the floor or whatever. He’ll kill you if you let me sleep on the floor. I see only way out of this. We share the bed.” Yoseob threw off his jacket, barely missing the chair he was aiming for.

The youngest of the pair pouted but didn’t object. The two climbed into the king sized bed together, both facing away from each other. It was a long night even after being on stage for their Beautiful Show concert. It was just a shame that Yoseob didn’t notice that the phone needed to be plugged into the wall.
