She smiled as she stepped out of her room and found her girlfriend in the kitchen, busy preparing breakfast for the morning. Approaching Taeyeon quietly, Tiffany subtly wrapped her arms around the omega from behind, resting her chin on Taeyeon's shoulder. "Morning, girlfriend."

Taeyeon chuckled. "Morning, Bright Spark."

"What are you doing?"

"Pancakes."

"Nice." Taeyeon smiled at the English word that escaped Tiffany's lips.

"Do you like pancakes?"

"I'm American. Of course, I like pancakes." Tiffany kissed her neck.

"Yeah, what else do you like?"

"You." Taeyeon cringed hard. "Oh my God, you're so..."

"What?" The alpha giggled. "You're telling me that you don't like it?"

"Of course, I don't! I'd rather have you call me stupid a thousand times than this!"

"Where's my girlfriend who said she liked it when I was so serious and protective?"

"You're not being serious and protective; you're being clingy and pathetic!" Tiffany chuckled, planting another kiss on her girlfriend's neck. "That's stupid!"

"Sorry, then, Stupid."

"Out of all Alphas I could end up with, it had to be a clingy one?"

"I'm not clingy."

"Yes, you are. You cling to me all the time with your arms."

"I just want to hug you and feel you close."

"See? Clingy."

Tiffany chuckled, amused. She snuggled her girlfriend tighter. "You're the best girlfriend out there, did you know that?" Tiffany asked.

"Yeah." Taeyeon smiled confidently, making Tiffany roll her eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes; I know you like it when I'm cheeky."

Tiffany chuckled and proceeded to kiss her girlfriend on her neck once again. "You're gonna be my disgrace one day, Kim Taeyeon."

"We gotta have fun sometimes with ourselves, or we would go crazy." Tiffany let head fall over Taeyeon’s shoulder, and her girlfriend’s makgeolli scent enticed her. Tiffany felt a strong urge to bite her skin. Praying it wasn't a weird thing, Tiffany's teeth nibbled the fabric of Taeyeon’s shirt ever so lightly, pulling it upwards.

"What are you doing?" Taeyeon asked, curiously.

"I don't know. Your scent suddenly made me want to bite you." She revealed. 

Taeyeon gulped, turning herself around to look at Tiffany. “What?”

“Your scent is drawing me in and it makes me want to bite you.” 

"Well, that is not a good sign." She looked away, sighing deeply. 

"I'm sorry... I didn't want to..."

"It's fine.” Taeyeon dismissed her words. “We just need to be careful not to let ourselves get carried away."

Tiffany understood the message. "Right. Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't know what hit me."

"Let’s just try not to snuggle ourselves so tight.” She recommended it and Tiffany didn’t like that. 

“Oh, c’mon!” She complained, but upon seeing the looks on her girlfriend’s face, she nodded her head. “Fine.”

"You're going out?" Taeyeon asked upon seeing Tiffany walking into the kitchen, all suited up. Taeyeon was in her pajamas, casually enjoying an orange-flavored sherbet.

"Meeting up with my friends," the alpha answered, opening the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. "Why are you eating sherbet at this time?"

She shrugged. "Just hungry."

"Can't you eat something more nutritious?" Taeyeon blinked. "I mean, even a pizza is better than that."

"Not in the mood."

That caught Tiffany’s attention. "Are you alright?" She asked, turning to look at her girlfriend. Taeyeon just nodded.

"Yeah, I'm alright." But it didn't look that way.

"You sound... different," Tiffany commented, squinting her eyes. Having Taeyeon as her girlfriend for a couple of weeks now made Tiffany more attuned to her moods than anyone, and she was usually the first to notice when the omega was acting differently.

"I'm bored," Taeyeon said, monotone, taking another spoonful of sherbet.

"Ah, Stupid Omega, I'm sorry," Tiffany said softly, sitting on her lap. "If I didn't have plans for tonight, I'd take you to dinner."

“It’s okay. You can go meet your friends.” She didn’t want to leave Taeyeon alone though. 

“I promise I won’t take long, okay?” She kissed her quickly. But the sherbet taste on her lips made Tiffany’s guts all fuzzy and she ended up kissing the omega one more time, this time with the help of her tongue. “You taste good.” She said after they broke apart. 

Taeyeon chuckled. "It’s the orange flavor. Did you know they use real orange juice mixed with vanilla ice cream, and—" Tiffany wasn't listening anymore; her senses were all occupied kissing Taeyeon, this time more slowly. The cold touch of Taeyeon's tongue caused Tiffany's hairs to stand on end, and began to explore the omega’s neck.  “Do you wanna go with me?” Tiffany asked when reached Taeyeon’s right ear.

“Where to?”

“Meet my friends..." Taeyeon pushed her away for a minute.

"Meet your friends?"

"Hm..."

"Are you crazy?"

Tiffany chuckled. "Why am I crazy? Just because I want my girlfriend to meet my friends?" Taeyeon blinked, not entirely sure if that was a good idea.

"Aren't they all... alphas?"

"Yeah… What's the problem with that?"

"Are they... alphas... like you? Or like... other alphas?"

Tiffany chuckled. "What is that even supposed to mean?"

"You know what it means," Taeyeon said, her voice serious and firm. Tiffany blinked. "You’re different from other alphas, Tiffany, you know that, right?"

Tiffany’s fingers entwined with Taeyeon’s. “You made me different.” 

She shook her head. “No. You always were. Yoona told me that..."

“She did?”

“Before I came to the dorm. She told me I would be safe here because you were different...”

Tiffany smiled. “Which reminds me I have to thank her for bringing you here.”

Taeyeon's head fell upon Tiffany’s right shoulder. “Thank you, Tiffany...”

“For what?”

“For being different…”

“You’re different from other omegas, so... I guess... we’re even.”

Taeyeon was the one chuckling this time. “You’re the very first alpha… that I don’t know... that makes… this thing... this caste system that plagues our society... feel unimportant. Like it doesn’t matter. Like we’re... equal.”

“We are equal.” She said, firmly.

“I know. But that’s not what other Alphas and Betas think. If it wasn’t you that day...” Tiffany felt her heart skip a beat. She knew what Taeyeon was talking about. “If it was any other alpha kin… I would’ve…” She closed her eyes, and Tiffany hugged her.

“Hey, it’s okay… it’s okay. Nothing happened that day...”

“I never really thanked you… for that.” Tiffany didn’t think she needed to hear those things, but she respected Taeyeon’s words. “I was angry and mad and… I’m sorry for how I treated you.” Tiffany's only movement was to hug her tighter. “I’m sorry I got mad at you. I tried to push you away... I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay… we’re all good now. That’s what matters,” Tiffany comforted.

“Thank you… for being considerate with me.”

“You’re my girlfriend, Stupid Omega. Of course, I’ll be considerate with you.” She retorted, making Taeyeon chuckle. And Tiffany kissed her again. And again. And again. And the citric flavor between their tongues pulled each other closer and closer, their chests rising as their breathing started to falter. Tiffany moved her hand up Taeyeon’s thigh, making the omega kin hiss for the touch. Tiffany could feel the temperature of the living room rising, and her senses heightened for a second.

“AI, FOR GOD’S SAKE! Every time I walk in here you guys are eating each other out!” Sunny complained, making the two girls split their tongues apart. 

"Sorry, Sunny," they both apologized in unison, sharing a laugh at her reaction.

“Jesus Christ, you guys are gross!” 

Tiffany, with a teasing glint in her eye, whispered to Taeyeon, "So, do you wanna go with me?"

"I don't think it's a good idea," Taeyeon replied honestly. "Not until..." She left the sentence unfinished, but Tiffany understood what it meant.

Till she marks Taeyeon.
