I Miss You, Eunseo...
Spring ScentThere was just something about waking up the morning after with that special someone all cuddled up in your arms that I really couldn’t quite explain.
“Bona…”
“Hmm?”
Bona just squirmed a bit from under the sheets. How could someone look like a fallen angel even with messy hair and wearing just an oversized white button up shirt? Bona was just breath taking. Memories from last night came rushing back to my head and I had to supress the urge to attack her with kisses. I’m just going to have to settle with a kiss on the forehead… for now.
“Wake up… It’s morning…”
“Hmm?... What time is it, Eunseo?”
I looked at the cosmic designed clocked on the side table.
“It’s half past nine a.m.”
“I didn’t hear the alarm go off… Is Cheng Xiao back?”
I don’t think Cheng Xiao would want to walk in on us in this situation.
“No… but I think she will be here soon. We better clean up.”
“Okay…”
I was about to get up from the bed when Bona pulled me back. I landed on top of her.
“Where do you think you’re going, Eunseo?”
“Uhm… to wash up a bit?”
“Where’s my morning kiss?”
“I already gave you one.”
“I don’t remember.”
Bona cupped my face and gave me a kiss on the lips.
“Okay… I remember… last night too…”
Bona pushed me back on the bed and was now on top of me. She stabilized herself before she pinned me down and gave me a deeper kiss.
“What was that just now, Bona?”
“Cardiopulmonary resuscitation... Didn’t you drown in my scent last night? I had to take responsibility and save you.”
Seriously... I don’t know what to do with Bona and that’s not how you do CPR. But jokes aside, I’m not exactly the one who needs to be saved right now.
“I’m going back to China.”
Cheng Xiao had just come back to the apartment and made the sudden announcement. Bona and I were having breakfast.
“What do you mean, Seongso? Did something happen last night?” Bona inquired.
“Well no… not exactly... I just need to confirm something and just some paperwork. I don’t need to pack up. I’ll be back soon, Jiyeonie.”
“When is your flight?”
“Tonight.”
“Really? So sudden… Well anyway, Eunseo and I were actually planning on going to the mall today. Why don’t we go together? Then Eunseo and I can see you off at the airport after?”
“You don’t have to, Jiyeonie. I’ll be fine by myself.”
“Oh but I insist, Seongso. I didn’t get to meet you at the airport last time. What kind of a roommate do you think I am?”
Bona stood up and proceeded to wash the dishes on the sink.
“Are you going back to the spirit world?” I whispered to Cheng Xiao.
“Yeah… But I really don’t need to go via airport.” Cheng Xiao whispered back.
“I know but your roommate seemed to be really determined to see you off at the airport.” I giggled.
“You think this is funny, Eunseo?”
“Why don’t we just go along with her plans so she won’t suspect anything? Don’t worry. I’ll see you off at the airport too. Please convey my best regards to everyone back in ‘China’.” I chuckled.
“You’re enjoying this too much, Eunseo.”
Bona, Cheng Xiao and I had now got off the cab and were now walking towards the mall entrance. Cheng Xiao and Bona were walking together ahead of me and I just followed behind them.
“Do you have a specific place that you want to go to, Eunseo? You’re in charge today.” Bona smiled.
“Yeah… I actually want to go to-“
“Cheng Xiao!!!”
The three of us turned to look at the person who called out Cheng Xiao’s name.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you were going to the mall too? Are you still hung up from last night, Cheng Xiao?”
“Xuan Yi?”
“Bona?... and Eunseo too?.. Wow… what a coincidence meeting all of you guys here!”
“Do you know each other, Seongso?”
“Uhm… She was the friend I was referring to last night. We are like schoolmates back in China… And you know each other too, Jiyeonie?”
“Yeah… Xuan Yi was the tourist that I met at the theme park. How was the seaweed party last night, Xuan Yi?”
“Oh it was fun! But Cheng Xiao wasn’t really fond of seaweed snacks so we decided to do some role play last night. She played as a grim reaper an
