"What the ?"

Ryeowook sighed in displeasure and slight fright. He actually didn't expect that he'd find himself at this situation; his eyes droopy and his hands clenched tightly on his sides. Kyuhyun was looking down on him with such a burning and inquisitive gaze that the smaller man couldn't help but squirm. He didn't like it one bit. He didn't like that Kyuhyun was doubting him; didn't like that his plan was almost being foiled.

"Can you repeat that again? One more time?" The younger inquired again when Ryeowook stayed silent; Kyuhyun soon leaning forward as if waiting for the smaller man to finally respond to his question. Ryeowook however squeaked at the action but found himself unable to take a step backward due to the wall behind him. The other was just right in front of him and Ryeowook knew he wouldn't be able to escape this torment; Kyuhyun was too much devious and perceptive and the smaller man was really worried that what he planned would be all for naught.

"I s-said... Umm, I said, I'm going to take back my arrow."

Kyuhyun's disposition then suddenly changed at the words that the smaller man muttered. Ryeowook was scared--the taller was already red in the face after all, and what if he was actually angry and was about to burst out? Ryeowook didn't fancy being punched in the face, but then again he had never seen Kyuhyun actually getting too mad. The younger was very much unpredictable as it seemed.

"Don't be mad, I know this is a weird request, but I really just need to take my arrow back! I'm sorry, you're probably angry right now and I know I'm already rambling but you know that I always ramble on when I'm anxious and I'm really going to cry because I'm really scared that you'll be angry and then you'll hate me and I don't want you hating me--"

Ryeowook's sentence was then cut off when, surprisingly, Kyuhyun actually burst out laughing.

"Oh my goodness, you're so cute when you're flustered!" The taller man happily sang as he ruffled the elder's hair; chuckling in adoration and smugness as he did so. "I'm not angry, I'm just confused! I didn't know you are this weird!"

Ryeowook then gasped rather dramatically at the statement as if he was offended at being called weird. He struggled to get out of the rather protective grip although Kyuhyun wouldn't have it; the younger's hands soon clutching at the hem of Ryeowook's clothing to prevent the elder from running away. Getting desparate (because having Kyuhyun so near him was seriously quite unsettling), Ryeowook puffed indignantly before kicking the other on the shin.

Kyuhyun, as expected, screamed in pain and when he saw the triumphant grin the other wore on his face, he immediately pouted and rubbed his stinging leg. The other however just giggled before he crouched down and started to gently rub the sore leg.

"I take back what I said. You aren't cute, you're a monster. And I can't believe that at first I was ecstatic when I knew I can see Cupid, but now I don't think I am."

Kyuhyun was susrpised to say the least when he realized that he could see Cupid. He was only sixteen years old when he saw a short petite man hovering in the air and of course the first thing he did was to scream. He was just laying on his bed relaxing but then when he opened his eyes, he was suddenly looking at a very ethereal and glowing creature that was freaking lounging five feet above the ground.

High cheekbones, effeminate pretty face, short in stature, donning a very short toga that barely reached the upper thighs, and two fluffy wings on the back--the man that was floating was definitely an angel and Kyuhyun was sure he didn't take any drugs for him to hallucinate like this. He then realized that that was the moment he discovered that non-humans existed in this Earth; that was the time he knew his life would dramatically change.

For better or for worse, he wasn't sure.

Ryeowook was the name the smiling man offered when he introduced himself to the frozen Kyuhyun. The human tried to introduce himself too, although before he could even try to utter his name with a shaking voice, the angel beat him to it and proceeded to narrate that he was Cupid and that he would be Kyuhyun's guardian angel from that time on.

The first exchange of information was unexpectedly the start of their strong and unbeatable friendship. They surprisingly clicked with each other very well despite of Kyuhyun always trying to take a peek inside Ryeowook's very short toga. They were practically joined to the hip too even though Ryeowook would always hit the human for being erted every single second of the day.

(Kyuhyun claimed that he had never seen an angel's private parts before, and he argued that it was just for educational purposes that he would like to look at Ryeowook's precious package and his even more precious . Least to say that the angel wasn't amused.)

No one could see Ryeowook aside from Kyuhyun and the younger man wouldn't have it any other way. Ryeowook was his best friend and it was better that way, so as just to ensure that no one would try to go in between their friendship. Ryeowook was too precious for Kyuhyun to lose, and Kyuhyun was too amazing for Ryeowook to abandon.

Ryeowook and Kyuhyun proved that friendship and care could very much well transcend beyond the boundaries of humanity.

It had been four years then since they met each other and although they were both contented being together, Kyuhyun had recently started to ask the smaller man on why he wasn't being hit by the angel's arrows of love yet. Ryeowook, just because he had gotten fed up with the human's incesstant whining, then indulged the pesky Kyuhyun and finally used his magical arrows and bow.

Jaehyun and Kyuhyun got into a relationship after that, of course with the help of Cupid.

"But Jaehyun and I are only on our first month of relationship. Why would you suddenly take back your arrow?" The human asked as he gingerly sat on the floor; his hands stubbornly encircling one of Ryeowook's legs to still prevent the other from walking or flying away. The angel was quite an avoider after all and this time, Kyuhyun wouldn't let this one slide not when it concerned his love life. "Besides, he and I are perfectly in love
