Saera was smiling as she looked up at Namsan Tower. The tower could be seen from Myeongdong and it made her feel excited. After walking around the various shops and makeup stores, she spotted the tower that has been featured in most of the drama shows she has seen. She was just looking up as she started to cross the street.

"야 (YA)!!"

Suddenly a person shouted at her for crossing. She wasn't paying attention to the traffic ahead until someone shouted and she heard a car screech. She fell to the ground and many people around her stared.

"새라 씨 (Saera-ssi)!"

"시원 씨 (Siwon-ssi)?"

It was as if time froze. Siwon was kneeling down next to her while she stared at him with the headlights of the cars behind them. He helped her stand up and told her to get into his car because traffic was moving and the cars behind were honking their horns. She didn't know what to do so she just quickly opened the door of the passenger seat.

Siwon drove and turned the corner to a smaller street and parked his car on the side. Saera just stared straight forward in fear. This was her first time in a car, let alone in the front seat and she felt she would smash right into the windshield by the speed that Siwon was going.

Siwon let go of the wheel and turned to look at Saera who looked like she was going to have a heart attack. The silence was there and someone had to break the ice.

“I'm sorry about earlier” he said as he stole a glance

Saera nervously turned to him as she held on to her seatbelt.

“I...I...uh… I wasn't looking… sorry” she said nervously

“Well that and about… the shoes...I heard I got the wrong size and you had to exchange them. I heard 삼 (3), not 사 (4)…” he explained

“Oh that...you don't have to apologize” she said “I'm sorry I wasn't looking where i was going”

“So this is your first time in Seoul, right?” he asked

“Kind of, well… I mean the lights, the music...I've never seen so much color before. The food is great as well. Have you tried tteokbokki? It's too spicy but if you try odeng (fishcake) soup with it, it's the perfect combination, probably better in the winter but--- oh sorry, I'm talking too much” she said and stopped herself

Siwon just smiled and showed his dimples. He was actually enjoying her gush so much about simple things. She looked really excited about everything and even though they didn't know each other that well, she just would not stop talking.

She bit her bottom lip and smiled a bit to stop herself from talking when she realized he was just smiling at her. She felt a bit embarrassed that she let have a life of its own.

“Your right, tteokbokki really is good especially with the soup” he said with a smile

He was talking as if they were close friends. He tried to match the mood she was in to make her feel comfortable while she just stared at him. There it was again. He looked like someone she only saw on TV. Even though she has already seen him in person twice, now knowing that he was a model for the brand of clothes she just bought, she was slowly starting to see him in a different light, an even better one.

“So will you be going back home tonight? It's getting pretty late” he asked

“Well…할머니 (grandmother) might be worried and I promised I won't be late” she explained

“It's already 10; don't you think she would feel better if you didn't travel this late at night?” he said as he checked his watch

Siwon had no idea where he was going with this and it sure looked like he was going to ask her something completely uncharacteristic considering the fact that they barely know each other.

“But I can't afford a hotel… I'll just go home. It's okay, I'm sure the trains are still running” she said nervously

“You can stay at my place!” he suddenly blurted out

"Excuse me? What the hell is wrong with you, Choi Si Won?!" he thought

For a second, he thought it was all in his head but he realized he just blurted something without thinking. She stared at him blankly. She had no idea how to respond. It was a situation she has never been in before.

“아… 괜찮습니다 (I...It's okay), I'll just take the train” she said

“I have an extra bedroom and you're welcome to use it” he tried to persuade her

"There's no way he's a psycho in disguise, right? What murderer looks like a prince from a fairytale?"

“It's huge imposition and I can't possibly---“

“Nope, I won't be able to sleep tonight knowing you're out there alone at night”

Siwon forgot all about his sister who was waiting for him in a restaurant around the area as he just drove straight to his condominium back in Gangnam.
