“Aren’t you the least bit curious?”

Saera and Eunkyung were standing behind the glass counter of their Duty-Free shop while they waited for customers.

It’s been a few days since Saera and Stella spoke. The former still didn’t understand a lot of things. Stella and Siwon’s break-up seemed like a personal matter and she had no idea why the other felt the need for her to know.

“How many times do I have to tell you? He’s a rich, handsome, and lives in the most expensive part of Seoul while I work a blue-collar job and live on a farm in the middle of nowhere” said Saera

“Why do you keep looking down on yourself? There is nothing wrong with who you are. You need to start taking pride at what you do. If you look at it, you’re doing well for someone who wants a restart in life” said Eunkyung “If that pretty woman, Stella or whatever her name is, thought you needed to know then you know something’s up”

Eunkyung left her friend when a customer came and asked about a new product. Saera stayed in her place and replayed her friend’s last sentence in her head as she stood there silently. She didn’t want to overthink things but what Eunkyung said about her restart in life made her realize her friend was right.

“So are you still staying over tonight?” Eunkyung asked as she rejoined her friend after helping the customer with her purchase

“Sure, I mean I haven’t been to your place before…” said Saera

“It’s our day off tomorrow, we can go out and just have fun” said Eunkyung “Plus I have Wi-Fi”

“And what am I going to do with that? You know I don’t have a computer”

“I’ll introduce you to someone” said her friend

“Sorry about you and Stella 누나 (noona)” said Kyuhyun as he slumped down on the couch next to the older one

“News sure does travel fast, let me guess, Joohyun told you” said Siwon  

“Actually you just did. I just said it and you confirmed” said the younger one

“I’m not really in a joking mood right now” said the older one

“Okay, all jokes aside. I really am sorry” said Kyuhyun “I really thought the 2nd time around for you guys was it”

Donghae suddenly came in from the hall with a bottle of water in his hand. He saw the two and joined them.

“What’s up? You guys seem serious” he said

“He and Stella 누나 (noona) broke up” said the youngest

“Can you not announce it so casually? Sometimes you really get on my nerves” Siwon suddenly snapped at him

Donghae and Kyuhyun were surprised because they have never seen him so serious before. Then again, they never even talked about Stella before. Everyone knew about their relationship but it was never the topic of conversation.

“I’m sorry, 형 (hyung)” said the youngest

Their manager called Kyuhyun out and he left, leaving the two older ones in the quiet dressing room.

Donghae sat next to Siwon and took another sip from his bottle before setting it down on the coffee table in front of them.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” asked Donghae
