Her Song

Harmony

Today was definitely going to be one of the worst days ever. First I had over slept and almost missed my bus, only to fall asleep on the bus and completely miss my stop. Then that rude driver practically kicked me off the bus saying this was his last stop. And now here I am, no idea where I had ended up.

It was at times like this that I wondered why the hell I had to get into and have my car confiscated. Damn parents.

I was walking down the street along a bricked wall cursing my life when I heard it. It was the piano, no doubt but the song playing was not ordinary. No. It was beyond beautiful like every not had been made especially for the song and not the other way around.

I was already late for school so why not. I quickly ran up the wall and looked around. It was a school. Wow. What school was this? Well at least now I knew it wasn't private property. I jumped over and headed towards we're the music was coming from. I stopped in front of a window.

My friends weren't lying, when you find the one it's like the world becomes brighter and everything just changes but what they didn't tell was that my soulmate would be this beautiful. Her hair was long and her closed eyes showed how beautiful long her eyelashes were. Her nose was perfect and just right for her. Her lips with plum and pink, slightly parted as she played. She had beautiful long fingers that played the keys as if they were caressing them and soothing every note out of them. Then she opened her eyes and I did the only thing that came to mind. Hide.

Stalker much.

I heard her walk around the room and then open the door. I counted to five before I peeked back inside and it was empty. She left?

Maybe she would come back. I could talk to her then. So I went and sat on one of the many benches in their garden, there was one that allowed me to see the music room window and I settled for that one. While I waited her song flowed through me and before I knew it, I was singing my own.

I sang it as I heard her song in my head and they were just so perfect together. I needed to speak to her. I heard someone running towards me and opened my eyes to see her, I closed my eyes again and hummed the song now. Would she come closer and ask who I am. I wanted her to.

When I sense her closer I opened my eyes and looked at her again. She really is beautiful, I watched as her facial expressions changed and as her eyes looked at me. She didn't notice I was looking back and she kept on staring at me. I had to smile, her expression were just so cute and the she unconditionally bite her lip was too much for me. When her eyes met mine, it was magical. Her eyes were a honey brown that just trapped me in them. She soon looked away and that made me sad until I sad she was blushing.

She was just so cute, I wanted to hold her already so I spoke. “Hey?” My friends would be so disappointed in me.

She looked at me surprised as blinked cutely. “Uhh… um. Hi.” She seemed to struggle a bit but her voice was just as beautiful as her.

I wanted her closer to I gestured her to come closer but just my bad luck, their school bell rang and she looked away from me before her beautiful eyes looked back at me.

“Umm. Sorry I have to go.” She quickly bowed to me and left running. I stood to stop her but had missed my chance.

I ruffled my hair in frustration. Uggh, why couldn't I be smooth like Kai. That guy could get a chicken to do anything for him even if it knew it would later be eaten by him.

The students were coming out and I had to leave, so I jumped the wall again and walked to a bus stop. I had been too angry in earlier to even think of that. Not that I regretted it. I ended up at the front of her school and looked at the name. I took a pic just incase before walking to the nearest bus stop and headed to my school.

When I got there it was almost lunch so I didn't bother to go to class. I waited for my friends at our usually table after grabbing my lunch. Soon the cafeteria was filled with noisy students and then my friends came in. I didn't have to look up from my phone to know they were coming. They were the loudest bunch in the whole school.

“Chen!” It was Baekhyun and I looked up to see said person coming right at me a bit too fast. “Where were you man?! You left me all alone in that damn English teacher’s class!!!” The guy was way too loud for Chen to handle but he didn't have to do much when it was Chanyeol that grabbed him and sat him down.

“Calm down Baek. I'm sure he has a great excuse.” It was Kai. He sat right beside me and threw his arm around my shoulders and turned to me with a smirk. “And I'm sure he would be happy to tell us now.”

“Ah… yeah. I guess I can.” I chuckled and looks at everyone one.

“So tell us.” I turned to Suho. I couldn't believe he was part of this. “Hey don't look at me like that, I'm curious too.”

I grinned at them which made them look at me more curiously. “I found my soulmate!”

They were all left in awe and Kai patted my back a bit too hard. “Good for you man!”

We could hear as some girls sighed sadly and some even whined. “Don't pay attention to them, you should be happy.” Leave it to Sehun not care about others that aren't his friends. Maybe that's why he was called the Ice Prince.

I grinned at him and nodded.

“So tell us about this mystery girl that you left me for?” Could beak be more of a diva? I still smiled and I was soon telling them about her.

“Wait are you saying you didn't even get her name?” Sehun said flatly.

I sighed and nodded as I buried my face in my arms on the table. “I know. I .” I looked up as I felt someone pat my head.

“Hey, why don't you just go see her again tomorrow?” I looked up at Suho and smiled.

“You're right so... I'll probably be late again tomorrow.”

“What?! You're leaving me alone again!” Baek stood and slammed his hands on the table as he looked at me with a glare. I saw Chanyeol sigh before making him sit again.

“Calm down Baek.” He kept him down by force and didn't even flinch when Baek directed his glare at him.

“How could you betray me like that Yeol!”

I sighed and moved closer to Baek. “Hey. I'm sorry but I really want to see her again.” He glared at me again and I just smiled. “I promise to do your homework for a week”

He huffed and crossed his arms. “Two and all my classes.” Damn he wasn’t joking.

“Deal!” He soon broke into a grin.

“Thank you.” Suddenly he was all civilized and happy.

“He really got you now.” Laughed Kai.

Damn this guy.

The next day I took the same bus and waiting till the last stop. I got off as walked to the same spot from yesterday and run up the wall to check if the coast was clear. No one was around so I jumped over and easily made my way over to the window from yesterday. I grinned as I heard the piano playing again. It was with the same kind of softness from yesterday but it wasn't her soul song. I listened as she played and then she stopped for a bit. I heard it then, the beginning on her song but before I could get lost in it, I saw a school patrol. !

I looked over the window and before I could get caught I jumped in and hid inside. I looked up to see her looking at me in awe and I quickly put my finger to my lips, hoping she would stay quiet. She nodded and looked over at the window. I think she maybe saw the patrol officer because she made up she was looking through her music sheets.

Then I saw her stand and come over. She closed the window and blinds. I finally let out a breath I had no idea I was holding and looked up at her only to be left breathless again.

“A- are you okay?” I heard her beautiful voice say and I couldn't help but smile and nod at her, my own voice gone as I admired her.

“I am.” I finally spoke after a bit and looked at her embarrassed as I rubbed the back of my neck. “Sorry about disturbing you.” She smiled at me and damn was it beautiful.

“It’s okay, I wasn't really doing much.” I slid off my backpack as I stood before walking the grand piano in the center and looked back at her. I had felt her eyes follow me.

“I heard you playing…” I looked down slightly as I spoke. “Could you keep playing?” I looked back at her, hoping with all my might she would play for me this time.

“I can but it's an incomplete song.” She said as she sat back down and placed her long fingers against the keys.

“That's why I'm here.” I said softly to myself and sat next to her but facing away from the piano. I turned to look at her as she closed her eyes and her fingers slowly started to dance against the keys. I smiled as I listened and then I could feel it like my own soul was dancing with her song and before I knew it I was singing along.

I saw her open her eyes as she heard my voice and I couldn't help but smile as I sang and she played. It was so perfect the way our songs merged and harmonized together.

I saw her beautiful eyes began to shine with tears and she even cried beautify. I moved my hand to her soft cheek to while her tears away as our song ended and whipped her tears away gently.

“I finally found you.” The words came out on their own as I looked at her soft honey brown eyes. She smiled back at me and I couldn't help but bring her into a hug.
