Where does a story start? When does a story start? For Sengbul, her story started in her little garden when he met the invaluable prince, Sehun. But, for everyone else her story started even before she was born. 

A dark period had ruled over Medlands. Gods were angry how people forgot Gods' value, slaughtered their own brothers over their greed, did not care for any consequences other than their own gains. So, Gods decided that people must vanish. They forbade any soul to leave from their side as all souls were created at the beginning and life began when a soul placed itself in a newborn. There were pregnant women however, not one of them gave birth to a living child. As people always do, people held onto the hope that the curse would be lifted. On a regular night of this cursed era, a pregnant woman gave birth to a living child. The cry of the baby ringed the ears of neighbours. The sky turned into a spectacle, each star shined much more as if they were to fall onto earth. People who saw the sky believed the curse was lifted and celebrations were made. But, those who heard the cry of the baby saw that as the baby came into life, it took more. Both the mother and the father of the baby was lying on the floor breathless. People who saw this was scared, and a messenger was sent to the Lord. The messenger took his last breath before the Lord, and the whole village who witnessed the birth of the child was found slaughtered. Those who celebrated the birth of the child named her Child of Light because they believed the stars were shining for her. However, after news were spread; people fell into silence. Now, babies were born and parents rejoiced over the forgotten joy of having a child. No other child than the Child of Light brought such a curse to neither their parents or the witnessers. So, everyone believed that the Child of Light was the curse that Gods made sure no human ever forgot their anger over people's wrongs. The Lord, brought the Child of Light to his castle to make sure she did not make contact with anybody and people of his land felt safe. The Lord named her Sengbul because she brought life back to the land but the life she brought burned the ones who touched her. Lord wandered over how he should get rid of the child. But, his priests who prayed for nights told him that the curse was lifted becasue Child of Light made a deal with the Gods to bring life back to humanity. The curse was not the curse for humanity but it was the curse for Sengbul who sacrificed herself for the people. This story was spread over land and people felt a gratitude towards Child of Light however, they feared her deep down.

This is how the story of Child of Light goes for Sengbul, too. All she knows is her limited life trapped in four walls. She does not know of Gods or remember the era of cursed times. But, her fate is stronger than the walls trapping her. Her story will make her into a lover, a queen, a traitor and a bride. There is one thing her fate revolves around: the love between her and the prince, Sehun.
