Make’em whistle like a missile bomb bomb

“why are we here again?” asked chanyeol with an obvious annoyed look.

“oh come on man- you need to chill and relax, and don’t you dare tell jihyo where you are!” warned by non-other than chanyeol’s beloved bestfriend, baekhyun. Chanyeol could only glare back towards his best friend. “hey- at least im trying to make a career here and not waste my time-‘’ well to be honest. It’s been a while since chanyeol wasn’t sitting on his desk, eyes glued towards his monitor while typing up the records his manager constantly assigned him to do. He’ll be lying if he wasn’t stressed out by being overworked and the lack of sleep he is getting. This also adds up his girlfriend jihyo whom he hasn’t seen in quite a while now due to his busy schedule. Their relationship is standing in a sinking boat as of the moment. Him and jihyo had a long history of being highschool sweethearts, and now both at the age of 26 and it seems like things have drifted.

A Sigh emitted from his lips as chanyeol propped his elbow on the table and his cheek resting against his knuckle, turning his eyes towards his best friend who seems to be preoccupied with flirting with one of the waitress of the bar instead of actually talk to chanyeol after being dragged here instead of finishing his due papers. He could only snickered and rolled his eyes at baekhyun before shifting his attention somewhere else. he Scanned the bar that his best friend took him to, and no doubt the place was impressive alright. Baekhyun always had the taste for choosing bars that Gives off a very luxurious yet welcoming vibe, and also include the affordable drinks the bar has to offer.

‘tud tud tud’ the sound of the mic being tapped had chanyeol’s eyes shooting up from looking at his beer, to the person standing in front of the stage, whom seem to be carrying a guitar. Chanyeol eyes were adjusting the sudden flash of the spotlight. And boy how chanyeol couldn’t help but to look at the person, or rather a girl, in awe. the girl had long dirty blonde locks that matches her peachy makeup look, along with her loose cream ruffle blouse and a color shorts. She indeed looked like an angel standing there, with the spotlight on her that adds up to her mesmerizing appearance.  “uh hello everyone! Im rose i’ll be your singer for tonight- and umm.. i hope you guys have a great night!’’ damn it, her voice is so cute. Chanyeol squealed inside his mind, trying not to be obvious as he kept a poker face while bitting his inner lip, trying to hold up his goofy grin. He leaned closer to his table while he waits (not so patiently) for the other to perform. Deep down inside he knew right on the spot he that was screwed.

Breath rose. Breath. Rose gulped nervously as she stands in front of a room filled with a good amount of crowd. The reason why she’s here is because of jisoo unnie, who works for the bar as the manager.  The main singer of the bar was sick and had to call off his performance for a week, and desperate jisoo had to contact someone who can replace their singer for a week. And it s seems like rose was the only option jisoo had left. Jisoo knew that rose had the voice that could make anyone melt. rose on the other hand, denied the sudden request at first as she was too shy to perform in front of anyone, let alone a huge crowd. But since rose owe jisoo big time after a certain incident that rose had no other choice but to ask jisoo for help. In the end she accepted the offer but of course, with pay.  “thank you thank you rose oh god-“ jisoo hugged rose while crying in happiness.  Rose couldn’t help but to chuckle at jisoo’s reaction, she wonders whether jisoo is really older than her.

Fixing her capo one last time and gave the mic one last tap before looking up to the crowd. Her fingers soon began to move like magic, creating a perfect and precise intro.  Opening her soft pink tinted lips as rose began to sing to tori kelly’s  “dear no one”

Chanyeol was definitely ed.  With just a single lyric had rose capturing his heart.

Rose continue to sang her favorite song, making sure to give justice to the song as she made sure to hit the right notes and kept a steady harmony of her voice and her guitar.  Chanyeol couldn’t help but to close his eyes with a smile creeping onto the side of lips, feeling his heart beat faster than usual.

Rose continued to couple more songs as the crowd request more songs, feeling more confident she gladly granted their request whilst flashing a huge smile to her audience. Finishing up with an adlib and a click of her guitar, rose bowed to the cheering audience. Rose then caught chanyeol’s staring eyes, a small blush crept onto her cheeks as she gave the stranger a smile before going backstage with her heart slightly pounding. “what the heck?” rose muttered to herself, clutching onto her chest with a confused look as her heart was acting weird after the sudden eye contact with the stranger. She tried to shake off the thought of the handsome stranger and walked towards jisoo unnie, who clapping non-stop with a huge grin on her face. “you were excellent rosie ah! Im so proud i actually screamed that you where my friend.” Rose no doubt heard someone screamed ‘that’s my friend! Go make unnie proud!’ somewhere in the bar. Rose chuckled in amusement whilst rubbing the back of her nape, holding her guitar with her free hand. “gee- you’re so embarrassing unnie-“  rose pouted with a softer shade of blush on her cheeks. “well this unnie is proud of her baby rose stepping up and showing her talent- anyways, why don’t you go rest at the table i reserved near the bar- i’ll join you later don’t worry.” Jisoo then patted rose’s shoulder and took the guitar from her. Taking rose’s hand as jisoo led her to the table.

Chanyeol was still in daze, as if he was hypnotized by an angel’s voice. So beautiful.. grinning weirdly to himself. “YAH! Earth to chanyeol???? Ya still there?” he came back to his senses by the high pitched voice of his best friend who’s currently rocking his back and forth to reality. “oh- yes baek?” chanyeol turned his attention to baekhyun with a very sweet smile, which creep the heck  out of baekhyun seeing his best friend smiling like that. “You were in daze bro- you kept on staring at the girl. Damn chan keep you pants on alright?” his best friend teased. Chanyeol rolled his eyes before grabbing his drink and chugged the whole glass. He leaned back to his seat and it seems that baek was back to flirting with another waiter. Now bored, he scanned the bar again in hopes to find the angel among the crowd. and to his luck,  the angel was walking towards their table. He bolts up to his seat and fixed his style while trying to act cool, glancing at the angel to see if whether they were close. And to chanyeol’s luck, the girl was sitting beside him. Alone. Him and her sitting so close yet so far, god was really playing with him right now.

Rose sat comfortable on her seat alone as she waits for jisoo to come back. She smiled to herself at the achievement she did a while ago. Being able to sing in a crowd was something rose would never do, but she did. Unknowingly, she turned her head towards her side as she felt like someone was looking at her. And to rose’s surprise, it was the stranger she caught staring at her during her thank you speech. A new shade of bright red on her cheeks rose quickly looked down shyly. Rose wanted to hit herself for acting like this, especially to someone she barely knew. Rose tried to compose herself as she took a deep breath and turned the other way.

Chanyeol, On the other hand, was blushing as well. Oh god we made eye contact. Chanyeol didn’t know what to do as he noticed the other blushing a deeper shade of red even though the place was dim as hell.  He actually felt guilty as of the moment, he has a girlfriend. Yet, here he is wanting to approach the angel beside him. Torn between wanting to follow his heart or his mind, he chooses to follow his heart in the end. He stood up from his seat and took a deep breath, taking up all the courage he had before walking up to her, and with baek staring at him in amusement as his best friend walked towards the girl who sang a while ago. “u-umm.. uhh.. your hair looks nice.” , really chan? he wanted to slap himself for the sudden question.

Rose’s eyes quickly gazed up to the deep voice, currently shocked seeing the male beside her who’s now in front of her. “i.. uhh thanks?” rose blinked confusingly at the male’s question as she took a small bundle of her hair.

“what i mean is- nice to meet you! Your voice is amazing! Im chanyeol by the way, are you alone? Youre so talented really-“ rose stared at ‘chanyeol’ as the stranger calls himself, and of course confused on which question she’ll answer. “thanks.. again. Um i get that a lot. Its my first time singing in such big crowd.” rose curled up a shy smile with another hint of blush.

“oh really? But you sounded like you’ve been singing in front of big crowds. You were beautiful.” And with that, rose’s blushed even more. And so is chanyeol after realizing what he said. Chanyeol was about to say something when jisoo came and interrupted their moment. “rose! Im sorry i took too long- i had to call up the supplier for our beverages. Shall we go?” jisoo seemed to not notice chanyeol standing in front of her as she took a hold of rose’s hand and pulled her along to the exit. Rose then look towards chanyeol with an apologetic look. “i’ll be back tomorrow! Lets continue our chat afterward!” rose shouted along with a small wave. Turning her attention back to jisoo whom have been talking non-stop about her work and how good rose performed. Rose couldn’t only nod his head with her mind still occupied by the gentleman.

Chanyeol was sure coming back tomorrow. and give baekhyun a huge hug for bringing him to this place.
