“Well, what are you waiting for?” Byulyi asked as she stared at the vibrating smartphone from Yongsun’s hand. “Answer it; it might be important. Put it on speakers, too.”
Yongsun answered the phone by putting the speakers feature on. “H-Hello?”
[“Ah, Yongsun! You sound surprised.”]
“Oh, am I?” Yongsun laughed nervously. “I’m sorry. I didn’t expect to get a call from you, appa. Is there anything I can help you with?”
As far as Yongsun and the rest of the members knew, the CEO—Kim Do Hoon, was running a small entertainment company: Rainbow Bridge World. He wasn’t a typical CEO who cared more about profits as a corporation—he focused heavily into producing high quality music and self-cultivation into developing artists as what an entertainment company should have done. Yongsun glanced over at the three girls and saw them crossing their arms with an ‘X’ while silently shaking their heads furiously.
“No, I’m at home by myself right now.”
[“Ahh… OK. Well, I received a noise complaint from one of the landlords that manages the apartment building you and Byulyi are in-- said something about a chorus of screaming near Byulyi’s unit area.”]
Yongsun looked around in panic while Hwasa and Wheein are flailing with their arms. What was she going to say to get out of this situation?
Just then, she felt someone tapped on to her shoulder and turned around to see Byulyi quickly wrote something on the notepad before flipping it over to show Yongsun this:
[‘Tell him it’s the neighbours that are having an intense sprees.’]
Yongsun covered and stifled her uncontrollable laugher out of embarrassment. She wondered whether Byulyi was crafty with coming up a plausible excuse, or trying to expose them of their actual private life long after their working hours have passed.
“W-well you know, appa,” Yongsun took a deep breat
