Color Me Red
Description
There were a few rumors about Hongpyo Academy for the Elite. It is said that the academy is for private, specialized learning that prepares their students for multiple career opportunities in high level areas of employment after graduation. It is said that the academy is funded by prominent tycoons, politicians, and celebrities all over the world for the servies of the graduates. It is said that the academy is currently run by a passionate headmisstress with multiple years of experience in special education under her belt. It is said that the teachers are all exceptionally qualified for their jobs and experts in their fields, which contribute to their flexible, hands-on approach to teaching. It is said that the school is equipped with facilities that specially cater to the hobbies and trainings of the students. It said that the parents of the students pay millions of won to have their children enroll in the mysterious school. Finally, it is said that the students who graduate from the school leave with multiple job offers and one foot on the road to success and wealth.
All of the rumors were true, but at the same time, none of them were.
Unlike other private schools in Korea, Hongpyo Academy did not just work on simple Language, Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Education, and History that were not applicable to their students' futures. The curriculum in the school was specialized, but not in the way that people thought.
Enter Park Hee Neul, a girl who lost all her love for the "specialized" and desired for the normal. All she could think of was giving it all up--her education, the path that she was on, and especially the skills and abilities that she had learned along the way.
Enter Do Kyungsoo, the new addition to the senior batch of Hongpyo Academy and a great mystery for the students and even the staff. No one knew why he became part of the senior batch, where he was from, or what he can do.
All they knew was that he was special as well and that somehow he would be able to make Hee Neul stay.
Foreword
"With all due respect, headmistress, I would rather have one of my classmates with live weapons play Hide and Go Kill with me than be stuck with the new kid."
"So do they call you 'Zero' and 'Bottom-dweller' because you're great or because you ?"
"Are you seriously asking me if I can trust someone like you?" "Yes."
“Because unlike the rest of you, I actually have something to lose.”
"On one condition: you have to kill me."
"The school rules keep you alive, so stop breaking them."
Disclaimer/Author's Note:
I don't own anyone in the story except for OCs like Hee Neul and Ms. Red. Also, I'm not an expert on anatomy, guns, fighting, and all of that stuff. While I did research these topics to give a better feel for the story and to have it closer to reality, I do acknowledge that there would be parts that are simply impossible or parts where I'm wrong or incomplete in research/understanding. Just, don't tear me down for that okay? ^^' Lastly, the general idea of this story is from a Tumblr blog called writing-prompt-s! That blog has some wicked cool prompts and stories. You should go check it out!
WIth that said, I do hope that all of you enjoy this story! It's my first time writing something outside of the romcom genre, but I hope it interests you
