The Sugar Snow
Description
Myungsoo is a boy from the Gingerbread Village, which was where all the gingerbread in the North Pole came from. Like everyone else in his village, he made gingerbread for a living. But one year, in the midst of the busy Christmas season, the entire village falls short on sugar and without sugar, how was gingerbread to be made? And what kind of Christmas would it be for the North Pole if there was no gingerbread?
Brave and bold, Myungsoo sets out to the Sugar Palace to request more sugar from the Sugar King himself. It will be a difficult journey, but Myungsoo is willing so long as it will save Christmas.
And along the way to the Sugar King, he meets some interesting companions such as a peppermint boy, a toy maker and a frosty man who seems intent on blocking Myungsoo from reaching his goal.
( a/n ):
ok so--
i know i had plans for an xmas angst oneshot but clearly this is not angsty. i may or may not have completely changed my mind because a) xmas angst is 2 cruel and b) i was very very inspired by this high school musical i saw called winter wonderland. it was an original written by a senior and this is my own little adaptation on it :)) credits go to her though!
this fic is more or less a very christmas-y themed fairytale inspired piece ahaha there's not really much i can say. i mean, myungsoo is a gingerbread boy so that should tell you a lot about where this story is headed. i've never seen one written like this before though, so i'm very excited to write it! it's meant to be very whimsical and playful and just overall fun with some goofy characters.
anyways i hope you guys will enjoy! :))

Foreword
"And where might you be headed...?"
"I'm on my way to the Sugar King! It's almost Christmas and without sugar, my village won't be able to make anymore gingerbread or other sweets for the holiday. So we're going to request sugar from the king himself!"
"Oh, are you now?"
"Yes!"
"Well... I hate to break it to you, but you're better off just heading back."
"...Heading back? What? Why?"
"Let's just say that for a king of sugar, he's not as sweet as he seems."
