Description

This wasn't the life that she wanted. It wasn't the one she expected. But it was the one she was dealt. Follow Luna on her journey to salvage whatever is left of a past she had no intention of losing. And her fight for a future she has every intention of keeping.

Foreword

So...this is basically one huge mash-up of multiple RPGs, though it mainly consists of Dragon Quest V and Golden Sun. Vermillion Trails is based on Final Fantasy VIII, but if you read Chapter 10, you can see I strayed a bit from that. I wanted to add different settings, and give more chances at character development. It knocked me off-track, but I'll get back to it eventually.

As for this story, I felt that Dragon Quest and Golden Sun would be two great games to try and combine, and this is the result.

Much like VT, this will be a slow build-up kind of story, so apologies in advance if that's not your thing. And again, main pairing is Lunber, though Jungli and Khuntoria will also be in it at several points.

With that being said, hope you enjoy This Is The World.

Edit: I honestly don't know when the M rating will kick in, so for now I'll just move this to the regular section...*sighs* this story is confusing me haha.

Chapter 1: Oops! Can't believe I'm just seeing this now!! Really into it so far. I already love the dynamic between the two of them. I like the fact that they're already friends. It's a nice contrast from their little love-hate thing in VT. Love both, really. And I also love how Luna was a mischievous little as a kid haha. Can't wait to see where you go with all this.
