After the huge success of Bangtan Boys, Big Hit Entertainment has trainees pouring in left and right, excited to debut under such an esteemed label and sweep the entertainment world. After the rapid increase of trainees, Big Hit decided to release a new girl group of seven to debut at the beginning of 2017.
Xpression, like the name suggests, represents self-expression, freedom of opinion, and following your heart, as well as encouraging individuality, and uniqueness. They don't want to be your typical, run of the mill, girl group; they want to step out of the box the entertainment world has created for them and express just who they are and live their dreams without any fabrication of their personalities. Will they be able to thrive in the world of kpop while staying faithful to who they are, much like their labelmates or will they lose themselves on their journey to stardom?
