Lee Donghae believed he was a completely normal kid in a not-so-normal world. But when a small, strange pirate crew ships at the bay of his hometown, Donghae finds out - through a series of unexpected happenings - that he's the last remaining of an extinct species, and because of that, the pirates kidnap him and brings him out on the sea to help them find an ancient treasure.

Donghae thinks he's in the clutches of rowdy, unsophisticated pirates, but in the middle of discovering his heritage, meeting PMS-ing witches and falling in love with a cocky idiot, Donghae realizes that there's more to the quest than wealth, and that you should never judge a book by its cover.

Chapter 5: Oh and could I recommend this kyuwook fiction called "It Begins With Blood" by Amalya (who also happens to write a ton of other great hidden gems)
It's a supernatural fic that involves various supernatural species and is also about war and has an entire apocalypse from beginning to end. And it also doesn't rush the romance like so many others do. It has a lot of action and stands out a lot as an original idea, yet it hasn't half the amount of subscribers or voters that it (in my opinion) deserves.

Chapter 1: Thank you so much, lately all that's been on this website is dull for lack of a better word, even on the popular and featured lists, and I know this sounds dumb and self centered, but I always look for some of my personal favorite fics that I know are really liked all around whenever I find a list, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a good number if them on here.
