It's time we let go
Love's Misfortune... or not.The next day, Wonwoo entered the airport with shaky feet.
“Why are you sweating so much? Aigoo.” Jeonghan chuckled as he wiped Wonwoo’s sweat.
“I’m nervous. Sending off the one I love to somewhere far, the little Wonwoo would’ve never imagine doing that to Mingyu.” Wonwoo sighed.
“We’re all here for you.” Kyungsoo patted Wonwoo’s back.
“Did he say where the two of you will meet?”
“At the lounge…”
“Wonwoo!”
The others turned around and saw Mingyu waving their hands at him.
“Go get your lover boy.” Jeonghan elbowed Wonwoo.
Wonwoo wasted no time and ran to hug Mingyu.
“You’re here.” Mingyu whispered.
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Wonwoo bumped his nose against Mingyu.
“Appa is having some problems at work so I’ll be leaving first.”
“So your appa’s not here?”
“Obviously.” Mingyu chuckled.
“Aigoo, you’re leaving already.” Seungcheol patted Mingyu’s back.
“We haven’t had a farewell party yet!” Baekhyun pouted.
“It’s okay. All of you guys being here is already too much.” Mingyu grinned.
“We’ll really miss you, Mingyu. Take care of yourself there, okay?”
“Will do. Please take care of Wonwoo.” Mingyu kissed Wonwoo’s cheek.
“Of course. What do you take us for?” Baekhyun feigned hurt.
“Baby sitters.” Mingyu stuck his tongue out.
“Yah!”
“But joking aside, I’ll miss all of you. I will never meet a gang like this. Especially, a guy like Wonwoo.” Mingyu gazed at Wonwoo.
Wonwoo couldn’t look at Mingyu or he’ll cry.
“Well, we’ll wait at the car.”
The others left and left Wonwoo with Mingyu.
“Look at me.” Mingyu cupped Wonwoo’s cheeks.
“I can’t see you leave.”
“I’m not leaving. I’m only going somewhere. I’m going to return.”
“You won’t forget me ever?”
Mingyu sighed as he took out a paper.
“What’s this?” Wonwoo raised an eyebrow.
“When I return, you’ll open it by then.”
“W-What?”
“If I find out that you opened it without me returning, I’m going to stay there.”
“W-What?!”
“Just kidding. But please don’t doubt me. I love you and I’ll return.”
“I love you too. So much.” Wonwoo’s tears fall.
“Don’t cry. Cry when I come back.” Mingyu kissed Wonwoo’s forehead.
Wonwoo nodded.
Mingyu pressed his lips unto Wonwoo’s.
They shared a kiss full of longing.
“Why can’t we fight for what makes us happy?” Wonwoo whispered.
“Because happiness comes at the right time. And now’s not our time. But aren’t we fighting already?”
“We are?” Wonwoo stared at Mingyu.
“Yeah. We’re fighting against distance.”
“You’re right.” Wonwoo smiled.
“I-I have to go.”
Wonwoo hugged Mingyu one more time before letting go until they were only holding hands.
“Take care of yourself and I’ll do the same.”
Mingyu chuckled before nodding.
“If you… If you can’t find me at the school anymore, I’ll be waiting for you at the old neighbourhood.”
Mingyu’s tears fell as he nodded, still wi
