Her ex texts her and she texts back. Technically, they’re friends, coming from the same group of friends in college. But, it’s their cycle. Whenever he has problems or breaks up with his new girlfriends, he would go to Krystal. Not that she minded. They don’t flirt anymore. Although he denies texting her only when he’s troubled, he actually shares his problems about the girls with her. She has to admit that when it happened before, she was glad of the attention especially of the fact that he always goes back to her. But now, she regards it as a merely friendly thing to do.

Amber, Luna, and Krystal meet at a nearby café where Minhyuk will pick them up to watch Yonghwa’s gig. Automatically, Krystal rides shotgun. Minhyuk immediately asks Luna about the recent test they took (the competitive kid) and then exchanges jokes with Amber. Krystal laughs with them.

The car fell silent as they moved so Minhyuk the radio. Luna and Amber jammed to the songs while Minhyuk just kept stealing glances at Krystal. She doesn’t notice, of course, since she was busy texting with her ex and Victoria (who is planning her 1st monthsary celebration to surprise Nichkhun).

Her ex sends a picture of ticket passes to a wall-climbing center. She’s excited. They were classmates in their wall-climbing PE in college (They didn't meet there. Also, they were broken up then.) And she’s actually quite good at this sport. They schedule their wall-climbing session next Saturday, his treat.

Yonghwa and his band did great – Krystal became a fan in an instant. They had drinks after but Minhyuk was unusually quiet. Occasionally, his brows are furrowed but when asked, he would just shrug it off as mere “stress from med school.”
