Plot: hyesu had changed from a bright cheerful and out-going girl to a cold and cautious person since her break up with her ex-boyfriend. seungho, one of her best friend who had fallen in love since with her elementary school tries to cheer her up..the rest of the plot is up to you.
Minor Characters: Choi Seunghyun aka TOP as hyesu's cousin and Amber Liu as her other best friend besides seungho. Lee Minhyuk aka Bbomb of block b is her ex-boyfriend.

               "Annyeong!" Hyesu called to her best friends Seungho and Amber after dismissal. She immediately ran out of the door and rushed into the corridors.

                         "Yah, where are you going?" Amber asked, running after her.

                         "I have a date, remember?" Hyesu answered back, still sprinting.

                         "No running in the corridors!" a teachers called angrily somewhere.

                         "Mianhae seonsaengnim!" the trio replied, switching to a brisk walk.

                         "Oh, you mean with Minhyuk?" Seungho said, catching up with the conversation. "Are you sure you're doing this?" he asked skeptically.

                        "Of course! What better way to sweeten your relationship than with a date at the cafe!" she said cheerfully.

                        "It's gonna need more than that if you ask me," Amber muttered under her breath. Hyesu just rolled her eyes.

                        Some minutes later, they came to xxxxx Cafe.

                        "Alright guys. This is it!" she looked at them excitedly. 

                        "You sure you don't want us to wait with you?" Amber asked.

                        "Nah, I'm sure Minhyuk-oppa's arriving soon. Besides, I don't want you guys to be bothered."

                        "We-ell, if that's what you want then," Seungho said though his eyes told a different story. "Amber, come on!"

                        Hyesu quickly sat on one of the chairs and began to wait.

                         An hour later, Minhyuk arrived.

               "Oppa! " Hyesu cheerfully cried as she greeted Minhyuk at the cafe. Minhyuk smiled amusingly at her, like Hyesu was a cheeky little six-year-old. He continued to walk towards her leisurely, showing a slight air of arrogance. 

               "Ah.. Hyesu-yah. Been here a while?" he smirked casually.

               "Ani, not really. I just came here a few minutes ago," Hyesu replied smiling, hiding the fact that she had been waiting for him for an hour. 

               "Chincha? Hmm.. that's good I guess.." Minhyuk said, not really looking at her.

               Minhyuk has been like this for two weeks now, like Hyesu can never have his attention for a long period of time. They'd been together for 6 months now and things had been going great. That is, until some weeks before when Hyesu began to see 'signs'. He'd text her often, give her calls and wait for her every morning at the school gate, but that was it. They rarely had dates, and this one (which Hyesu painstakingly organized inspite of her tight schedule) was not turning out very well. But despite it all, Hyesu was determined to make this relationship work.

               After placing their orders, a terrible silence befell them.

               "So uhm, Minhyuk-oppa, how's everything?" Hyesu continued, desperate to make a conversation with her now distant boyfriend. "You seemed pretty busy lately so I thought you should take a bit of time off to calm your nerves or something.. "

               "Hyesu-yah."

               Minhyuk's tone made Hyesu look up at Minhyuk's dark intense eyes. "There's a reason why I agreed to come here today."

               That single statement caused a lump in Hyesu's throat. Please.. please tell that's not it.. her eyes seemed to plead. Nevertheless, she went on and cleared . "Ahem, soo.. what is it? Is something bothering you?" she asked in her usual up-beat sincere voice.

               Minhyuk stared outside again and took a few moments to compose himself. It seemed like an eternity for Hyesu and her heart seemed to beat louder at each second. Calm down Hyesu-yah, she told herself. Maybe he's just trying to decide how to tell me he had arranged an out of town trip for us and that that's what he had been working on for these past few weeks.. or better yet, he had booked two tickets for us to some tropical island! That's just typical of him! She smiled reassuringly to herself.

              Just when things started to look better, Minhyuk chose this time to talk.

              "Hyesu-yah, I know you're completely aware that what's going on is NOT working out. That's why.. I'm not gonna see you again. Let's end it here, right now."

              Well that was just.. ugh.

              "W-what?" Hyesu asked, checking if what she heard really was her worst nightmare.

              "I'm breaking it up with you Hyesu-yah."

              Hyesu just stared at him dumbfounded.

              "Just in case you're wondering," he continued. "It's not about some other girl, ok? I just feel that we should move on with our lives, that's all.."

              After which, he stood up and left.

              Everything was a blur after that..

              Seungho stood waiting at the Choi's house gate. His bestfriend Hyesu had gone off on her date with the Minhyuk guy and he had a feeling that something went wrong. He paced the sidewalk and stared wistfully at the alleyway where, a few a hours ago, Hyesu had strolled on looking all excited.

             "What's the fuss all about, Seungho?" a boyish girl about Hyesu's age inquired. "I thought you said you won't mess with her lovelife anymore?" she added with a hint of malice.

             "Come on Amber! Just let me do my job as a loyal bestfriend, ok? Aish.." he irritatedly replied, turning his face away so Amber won't see how guilty he was.

             Amber just smirked at the comment, knowing how Seungho had been crushing on their friend since their elementary days. He had been keeping it a secret for a long time, but Amber knew it all along. She just had that kind of gut-feeling with people, and so far, it has always been right.

             Regarding Hyesu, she was also starting to get worried. Though she might not show it, she's really concerned about her friend and would be really pissed off if someone did anything bad to her.  

                      Seungho, on one hand, resolved to fuming. He never liked that Minhyuk guy. Not one bit. During the first weeks of Hyesu and Minhyuk's relationship, he had vocally objected against it. It was only because he wanted Hyesu to be happy that he tolerated him.

             "Hyesu-yah, how could you trust that.. that.. guy. Did you really think this through?" he asked her on one of their one-on-one sessions.  

             "Of course! Minhyuk's really nice, he won't hurt me," Hyesu had cheerfully replied.

             Now, he's hoping that Hyesu had really thought about it before it all came to this.         

             Suddenly, he saw a small petite frame coming towards him. He immediately recognized it as Hyesu and ran to her. The poor girl had almost dragged herself on the way home, still in the state of shock which her sudden break-up had given her.

            "Hyesu-yah! Hyesu-yah! Gwaenchana?" Hyesu's concerned friend asked as he took her by the shoulders.

            "Seungho-yah.." her listless eyes stared back into his. "Minhyuk-oppa.. he broke up with me today.."

             Seungho stared at her, partly out of sincerity and concern and partly out of surprise due to the situation.

             "Choi Hyesu!" Amber said as she approached her friend. "What did that jerk do to you? Want me to punch his lights out?" she said as she prepared to stomp out.

             "No, no! Just.. just let me rest. Please guys.." Hyesu weakly replied. She looked at them and they realized she'd been holding back her tears the whole way, seeing how she's still trying to stop them now without success.

             Seungho seemed to be the first one to sense it as he said, "Well, ok. If that's what you need. Just call us if you need to talk or anything, alright?" 

             Hyesu just answered with a nod.

             Seungho grabbed Amber and went on their way.

            "You think she'll be ok?" she asked him quizically, while still trying to look back at their crestfallen friend.

            "Yeah, she's strong. She'll make it, you know. You heard her, she just needs to rest," he answered reassuringly. Despite these words, he still wasn't sure himself. He was hurting right at that moment for his friend (whom he secretly loved more than a friend :">) and he couldn't do anything about it.

            Hyesu entered their living room and was met by his cousin Seunghyun.

            "Oh, Seunghyun-oppa."

            "Hyesu-yah." He looked at her and saw the teartracks on her face. "Are you ok? Any trouble, whatsoever?"

            "Nah, it's just some.. ah.. sad story I heard. Really dramatic," she fibbed.

            "Okaayy.." he replied, sensing his cousin's transparent lies.

            "Anyway, could you tell umma and appa, I might not make it to dinner later. I'll be busy in my room." And with that, she vanished into her room. 

            Something is defnitely going on, Seunghyun thought.

(TWO WEEKS LATER)

            Hyesu, sat by herself in the classroom. Everyone had gone home but for some reason, she felt she the need to stay longer. She had to think..

            Oppa.. why? 

                    Her head was instantly flooded by the memories of the past. Suddenly the pain seemed fresh like it was inflicted only yesterday. Her eyes brimmed with tears and before she knew it, she was rying again.

                    She hunched over her desk and let her tears and hurt stream down her face. 

                    I'm worthless! I should have known.. I never should have gone into this.. she thought sadly.

                    "Hyesu-ya?"

                    She stopped at the sound of the voice. She turned towards the door and saw her bestfriend Seungho staring at her, his face full of concern. "S-Seungho-ya.."

                    Without another word, Seungho stepped toward her and put his arms around her. "It's okay Hyesu-ya." 

                    As soon as Seungho hugged her, Hyesu immeditely felt a sense of relief and let go of all her feelings. She let out a cry and sobbed uncontrollably on Seungho's shoulder.

                   "Why? Why did he leave me? Am I not good enough?" she cried.

                  "Sshh.." Seungho consoled her. "You are more than what he treated you. You are a special girl, Hyesu.. and you'll always be." Seungho said, his words speaking volumes.

                  Later on, Seungho walked Hyesu home. Neither of them spoke a word but Hyesu felt a sense of security as her bestest friend in the world accompanied her, especially now during her darkest times.

                  As they reached her house, Hyesu felt a bit bad about leaving Seungho.

It's been a month since the dreadful event, and Hyesu still hasn't gotten it over with. Seunghyun would often hear her cries through the wall at night and whenever he sees her, she'd look like life was right out of her. He no longer saw the bright and cheerful Hyesu who would always greet them with a wide smile and banish the loneliness from the house.

           Even Amber and Seungho were not exceptions from this observations. They'd meet up at school as usual and would see Hyesu.. but somehow, she's changed. Almost as if something broke inside her the day Minhyuk disposed of her (that's how she felt anyway). She no longer smiled like she used to. She didn't even joke around with them anymore. During classes, you'd see her looking into empty space, when back then she'd be branded as the most participative in class. She rarely talked to anyone, and if she did it would only be about technical stuff and it would be through soft small mumbles, no longer the explosive outbursts the people had grown to love from her. It was truly a horriffic change.

           Seungho was the one who was most affected by all this, more than anyone else. He couldn't stand the fact that someone would have the heart to damage aperson as nice as Hyesu. It tugged the back of his mind at night, and he would often fall asleep with Hyesu in mind.

           It was the middle of the night. Seungho sat at his desk, staring into nothing in particular. He couldn't sleep from worrying about Hyesu. Just then, his phone rang.

                  Now who could calling at this time of night? he thought, picking up his phone nonchalantly then reading the name of the caller. Amber?

                  "Yobeoseyo?"

                  "Seungho! Good thing you're still awake! I need to tell you something.."

                  "Mwo? Is something wrong? Is it about Hyesu?"

                  "Neh. I don't know if someone's already told you but Seunghyun just called and told me Hyesu's leaving for America next week."

                  "What?! Amber Liu, don't you DARE play pranks on me!"

                  "This is not a prank, though I wish it was. I can't believe she didn't tell any of us!"

                  "We need to talk to her. She can't just leave!"

                  "Yes, I know. Could this be about Minhyuk again?"

                  "Yeah, I think so too. Anyway, I'll come by her house tomorrow. We really need to figure this out."

                 "Hyesu-ah, you don't look so well." Mrs. Choi remarked as she looked at her slouching daughter. Hyesu straighten up. "Ani umma. Gwenchana." she said as she faked a smile. Mrs. Choi just nodded, not really believing her daughter's response.

                  Ding Dong! Ding Dong! , the doorbell rang.                  

                "Hyesu-ah~ Can you open the door?" Mrs. Choi asked. Hyesu nodded and opened the door. A smilling Amber stared at her. "Amber unnie? What are you doing here?" she mumbled and let Amber enter. Amber raised her eyebrows. "Why? Can't I visit you huh, Choi Hyesu?" she slightly raised her voice. Hyesu frantically shook her head. Amber smiled but later replaced it with a frown as if she remembered the reason she came. "Why Amber unnie?" Hyesu asked.

                "Why didn't you tell us?" Amber asked back. Hyesu looked down on her shoes, knowing what her friend was saying. "Mian unnie. I just didn't want to trouble you." she apologized. Amber heavily sighed. "Okay then. By the way, I came here to give you this." Amber said and gave Hyesu a piece of paper. She opened the door to leave but threw a last glance at Hyesu just before stepping out. "Come there later. 9 pm." she said and left. Hyesu just nodded her head.

                Hyesu opened the letter and read it.

                Come to xxxxxxx restaurant at 9pm. Wear something special. I'll be waiting :))

                 "That's a fancy restaurant. I wonder what we'll be doing there?" Hyesu whispered to herself and went to her room to prepare the clothes she'll wear.

                 Hyesu came out of the house wearing a cute dress. [clothes:http://i.ysi.bz/Assets/47/642/L_p0019364247.jpg] She hailed a taxi and asked the cab driver to go to the xxxxxx restaurant's address. 

                After half an hour, she finally reached her destination. She thanked the cab driver as she paid him. Hyesu went in and wandered around the place. It was dark and she couldn't see anything.  "Where are they and why is it dark?" she mumbled.

                Out of nowhere, a letter fell down to her hands. Still confused, she used the light of her phone to read it. 

                 Follow the red petals. It will lead you to a big but small surprise, it said.

                 "What? How can I follow it when I can't see the way?" she loudly mumbled. Suddenly, the lights turn on, on the path of the red petals. "O~kay?" she said and followed the petals.

                   Big but small surprise. What can it be? she thought and continued walking.

                    She stopped on the last petal and looked around. "Where is that surprise?" she loudly thought. Sudden, something fell on her face. She shook her face and a shiny thing fell on the ground. She bent down and picked it up. Her eyes widened when she saw a diamond necklace. 

                    "Omo.." she said. She looked around."Erm.. who owns this? I think someone dropped it from the... roof?" she asked no one. She sighed and continued walking to who knows where. "Aish.. Why is it so dark here? Is Amber unnie and Seungho oppa playing a prank on me?" she groaned.

                    Suddenly, she heard a chorus of violins from somewhere. "W-who's there? Where are you?" she asked blindly. What in the world are you planning Seungho?

                   Just when she felt like fainting from all the confusion, a diner table suddenly appeared before her illuminated by candlelight. It looked like it was meant for a couple, with all the rose petals adorning it. 

                   O-kaay.. I think I got off the wrong restaurant, she thought as she turned to leave.

                   "Hyesu-yah?" a voice called behind her. She stopped in her tracks. Slowly, she turned to face her mysterious host...

                   "Seungho-oppa?" she asked. "You're behind all this?"

                   Seungho rubbed the back of his neck  then nodded slowly. " I guess I am.."

                   Hyesu looked at him with curious eyes. "Wae oppa?" she asked.

                   Seungho breathe in deeply. "What about we take a seat first?" he asked and led Hyesu towards the diner table. 

                   Hyesu sat down and bombared him with questions. "What's with this table?"

                   "We'll have dinner."

                   "Really? Then where's Amber unnie?"

                   "She's not here."

                    "Oh, so the dinner will be postponed?" Hyesu asked. She was confused why her Seungho-oppa was acting like that. She didn't want to think that Seungho really prepared the dinner only for the two of them.

                   Seungho on the other hand, sighed heavily and mustered up the courage to tell his feelings to Hyesu. "No Hyesu. It won't be cancelled. It's just.. just.." Seungho stammered, loosing his courage. "Just what, oppa?" Hyesu curiously asked. Seungho looked at her. He gazed in her eyes.  He saw her flawless and milky skin, her pink plump lips that he'd been dreaming to kiss all those years. Last but not the least, he saw, in her eyes, the girl he'd grown to love as more than a friend. I need to make her mine, he thought.

                  "Hyesu-ah.. It's just for the two of us." he said. Hyesu stiffened. "W-what do you mean, oppa?" she asked. Seungho stood up and walked towards her. He kneeled infront of her. "It's just for the two of us. It's not a friendly date nor a friendly dinner. It's a date to be exact. A romantic concept date." he said. Hyesu can't believe what her bestfriend is saying. 

                   "Oppa, you know that I just got from a break-up, right?" she asked. Seungho nodded. "I know that Hyesu. I'm sorry if I confessed too early. I know that there's a wound in your heart but I just can't fight this feeling anymore. All this time, I've been resisting to show my love for you. Even when I wanted to hug you, I couldn't. But now that you're not in a relationship and you'll be leaving for America, I realize that I just can't let you go like that." Seungho gloomily said. Hyesu looked at him. She was guilty for not noticing her bestfriend's feelings for her.

                  "Oppa, can you wait?" she asked. Seungho looked at her. "What?"

                  "Can you wait for me?" she asked once again.

                  She held Seungho's hand. "Oppa, I may not be ready this time but can you wait for me? By the time I come back, I think I'll be ready." she continued. Seungho's face brightened and hugged her tightly. "I will wait for you, Hyesu. Even if it takes hundreds of years." he said. Hyesu smiled and hugged back. "Gomowo, Seungho oppa." she said.

                Hyesu brought out the necklace that fell on her a while ago."Is this yours?" she asked, dangling it by its silver chain. Seungho smiled. "Aniyo. It's yours" he answered, holding her hand and closing it gently so that Hyesu clasped the necklace. Hyesu's eyes twinkled as she stood and turned her back to Seungho. "Put it on me." she requested and gave the necklace to Seungho. Seungho gladly took it and placed it around Hyesu's neck. Hyesu stared at the necklace winking back at her. "Oppa, why is it shaped like an infinity sign?'" she asked. "Because it means that I will infinitely love you. " Seungho said and backhugged Hyesu. Hyesu smiled and enjoyed the warmth of her oppa's arms. Out of nowhere, red petals fell down.

 Meanwhile..

      Somewhere on the roof....

          "Aww.. so sweet~" Amber cooed. Seunghyun laughed. "Yeah right. I can't believe this Seungho guy can be sweet." he replied. Amber nodded and continued throwing red petals to the couples. "Yeah, he even bought a diamond necklace. Nice throw on the diamond necklace, by the way." Amber complemented. "Nice throw on the letters then. Oh, and a big 'Daebak!' to those epic lights. I can't believe we pulled it off." Seunghyun said. Amber smiled and continued throwing flower petals on the couple.

After a week...

       In the airport....

          "Oppa, I'll miss you." Hyesu sobbed. Seungho her hair and wiped her tears. "Shh.. It's alright." he comforted. Hyesu looked at him. "But oppa promise that you'll wait for me." she said. Seungho nodded and let Hyesu face him. "I will. I'm your man and you're my girl." Seungho smiled. Hyesu nodded. Seungho leaned in, so as Hyesu. When their lips were about to touch, someone interrupted. "Yah! What are you two doing?" Amber gasped. Hyesu and Seungho quickly looked away. Bad timing AMBER!! YOU'RE SO DEAD LATER.... Seungho mentally groaned.

          "Nothing unnie! Bye then~" Hyesu squeaked. Hyesu grabbed her suitcase and ran to the entrance of the airport. She was about to enter but she saw Seungho frowning. She ran towards Seungho and gave him a quick peck on the lips. She blushed and ran towards the entrance. Seungho also reddened and touched his lips. I'll really wait for your comeback, Choi Hyesu. he thought  and stared at Hyesu's disappearing figure.
