Description
To run was all she ever wanted to do, away from the reality that continues to haunt her. Chaeyoung had heavy weights to carry on her shoulder and it all seemed to be pulling her down further and further as she grew older. Pain after pain, she has only tried to stay optimistic about life and that everything will be okay one day for her and her little sister. But staying positive started to wear her out, making her rethink her life decisions and incidents. No one knew how much she was dreading inside and how much death seemed so appealing to her. But for every step she tried taking to fall into a slumber of eternity, there was always something that kept her awake still. Even after all the never-ending issues that threatened her life, betrayals after betrayals by the people whom she loved, and clearly had no other reason to stay, it was as though something kept her from taking that leap to the end.
And it was at that moment she heard his voice.
"Stay.."
Could he be the reason...?

Foreword
Hey guys ! I drafted this out quite sometime ago and the storyline leaned towards a very romantic fanfiction. However, after going through certain things in my life - which is not completely identical to this - I decided to move this piece towards a more self-thought story in a sense that its about the protagonist battling through not just her romance life, but her social life, her family issues, and much more. I plan to update once or twice a week on specific dates but I would have to plan things out so that will be notified soon!
Initially, I planned to call it Stay, but just months after, BlackPink came up with the song Stay and I was shooketh for a sec LOL. I'm pretty sure there are tons of BP fanfics named after the song and so, I decided to change the title :))
I'd also like to warn that there may be certain factors in here that could be triggering self-harm and i'll be sure to highlight that before you read the chapters just to give you a heads up.
