12th Grade High School at Seoul National University

 

JongDae’s POV

 

Everyone is excited for the upcoming graduation and graduation ball, as everyone was chatting on what will they wear and where will their families spend their own celebration, We’re done with the exams two weeks ago and just practicing for the graduation march

 

All classes in our batch were at the auditorium, arranged by section and surname making Jin to be as the last in girls, she was sitting quietly as the one sitting beside her not friends with her since WooRi is friends with BoMi

 

I was behind her I can see what’s she is doing, the other class are just filling up the seats and students buzzing around in excitement 

 

Then our homeroom teacher went straight to her and told her something, she turned pale as she was glued to her place 

 

“Jin, Your Father is outside waiting for you.” Professor Kang reminded her

 

She stood up excusing herself from the people she bumped to, As SoYou looked back saw her running outside and have the instinct to followed her, signaling KyungSoo to go with her and KyungSoo told us to go with them and all of us dashed outside

 

We step back when we saw Jin standing in front of her father, trembling and crying, as her father opened his arms and wrapped her in a warm embrace

 

We thought it was a father-daughter reunion and we left to give them privacy, We did practice and went back into our respective room after lunch to have a final meeting before our graduation; The day after tomorrow

 

Professor Kang told the reason why Jin went home and didn’t attend our last practice and even SoYou don’t have the idea why she’s not around

 

“As some of you saw MinShik-ssi, Jin’s father went here.” She started and the whole class is quiet waiting for her to continue

 

“He picked up Jin and She may not attend the graduation and the ball anymore.” She informed us causing everyone to be surprise

 

“Jin’s grandmother who’s in New York called her father to inform a bad news, that her mother, actress Yoo WonHee passed away.” She finished a bit teary-eye

 

SoYou bowed her head and silently cry for her friend’s situation and like everyone else everyone is silent with the drastic news

 

No one can contact her, Even SoYou and KyungSoo leaving them and me of course worried 

 

The day before graduation, I went to school to gather other things in the locker, a few students were there doing the same as me, When i saw I familiar figure wearing an all black outfit, taking her things out one by one from her locker and put in a box held by her chauffeur 

 

I walked where mine is and its just three lockers away from her, She didn’t even tried to look at me even she knew exactly who came

 

“Ahjussi, that’s all my things, You can wait in the car, I’ll just get my documents in the registrar office.” Her restrained voice instructed him and he politely left

 

She walk pass from me without even an eye to look at me at once, I knew since I’m watching her all this time, didn’t she know I followed her

 

OC’s POV

 

As I walked out the registrar office, holding my documents on my hands, walking on the hallway when I saw a familiar figure leaning on the wall 

 

He straighten up when he saw me, eyes to each other as I didn’t realized he was getting near to me and now standing in my front

 

“Come with me.” He commanded as he dragged me holding my wrist

 

We ended up on the football field, sitting on the bleachers that I often occupy, good thing it was cloudy and strong breeze blowing comfortable enough to stay for awhile

 

We are sitting side by side, the very first time I was physically close with him, I’ll remained silent the whole time, I really don’t what to say besides he’s the one who brought me here but I’m a bit impatient and irritated since I need to go home and check if all my things I needed is with me because later tonight is my flight with my father going to New York to see my mother for the last time
