Chapter 2: hi, i'm a translator. I learned through self studying and it's not easy but I say this is a very good way to learn ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hope the best for you! fighting!
Chapter 2: If you ever want to practise speaking, we can set a vocab list (so we know what the other is saying, otherwise whats the point) and we can chat in korean about whatever we can make from the vocab. If anyone's interested, my skype is eatingoutoppapi. I cant go on calls tho :/
Good luck in studying Korean! I'm also studying the language but not really excessive. Since I'm busy right now, I only rely to my Korean students. Btw, I teach English to Korean students and I learn Korean from them also. If you feel like reading Korean passages and want to test yourself how far you understand it. I could give you some samples of the passages (Korean and the translation in English). I also have Phonics and Pre-school books. It could teach you a little of grammar. It does not talk about grammar actually but you will notice the patterns of their sentences. It's easy to understand cause the words are very basic and for beginners.
Chapter 4: OOOO!! You're studying korean?? So am I! I've been doing it for a few months now. I use this software called Anki instead of Quizlet or my flashcards.
