The night where it all came out.

Infinite Christmas One-shots

Her Christmas was not merry at all.
There was noise in the house and fgihting.
Thre were hands flying up in the air.
There were words flung out.
They might be family but they don't have love or respect for each other at all.

She was hurt by their words since she was telling the truth and only the truth.
They kept defending themselves, yet they were wrong.
She felt she had nothing to do at all.
She took her jacket and keys and slammed the door behind her.
She started walking fast, walking throught the slippery wet floor.
Her steps were as fast as her tears were falling.
She kept walking and walking not knowing where to go, but for now she knows she isn't going back into that house.

She soon reached a park.
She sat on a bench and let it all out.
She started shouting the things she wanted to tell them.
She started screaming and later faded out into wailing and crying.
She felt so relieved after letting all the feelings she felt.
Soon she felt her eyes were puffy.
She felt ugly. She wanted a better life than this.
They wasted 18 years of her life that she would never get back.
Soon she just sat there. She sat there and just took a rest from all of it.

Tears were making their way past her hot cheeks once again.
She didn't mind them. They had their right to come out.
She kept them in through all those times.
All those times where she couldn't say what she thought and followed obediently.
She was treated like a slave. Like a housemaid.
They threatened her, they used her, they blackmailed her.
She was tired of it all. She wanted to get away from it.
They were not the people who are human.
They were inhumane.

She notices a shadow in front of her, appear.
She didn't have friends. She didn't have relatives in town.
Who was this? She wondered to herself as she wiped her tears away before looking up.

Before she could wipe her tears, the owner of this shadow did it for her.
This made her, automatically look up.
Her face bore a worried yet thankful expression.
Who was this person? Why was he or she helping her?
What is her relation with him or her?
These questions popped into her head as she looked up to see who it was.
It looked like a familiar face but it was slightly blurry because of the tears.
It was a guy. A tall guy. He wiped her tears with his thumb.
She could finally see his face clearly.
She looked for a moment while she tries to find out who was this who had a familiar face.
It took her a few seconds before she knew who this was.

"LEE SUNGYEOL?!" She shouts.
"Shhhhh!!!" He said while putting a finger up at his mouth.
"Wh-what? Why? Huh......?" She had a dumbfounded face on while she waited for answers.
He sighs then smiles at her.
He sits beside her and looked at her.
Her stare just followed him.
"I was going out to buy stuff then I heard you. I started going towards the park when I knew it was coming from here.
I was worried. I was also wondering who or what it was. When I saw you, I felt my heart break. You looked so sad."
He stared at her with eyes of sadness and pity.
"D-don't pity me. It only makes it worse."
She looks away. He calls her to make her look back at him.
"Ya! Don't ignore me!" He sighs and tries again.
"Will you tell me why?" He asked softly.
She slowly looks at him and sighs and started telling him about her family.
While she does, tears started to fall. She couldn't help it.
He continued to listen and wiped her tears from time-to-time.
"I'm sorry about that. I'm also sorry that I don't have a handkerchief."
He laughs softly and wipes the tear off her cheek.
"You're so beautiful and they treat you like this? What kind of parents are that?!
I think you should live with me in our dorm!"
She laughed softly and said.
"Don't even start. I have wanted to move out for years but, I don't have the money and I need to stay close to school."
She sighs. He holds her hand and looks at her directly.
He waited for her to look back at him.
After a few seconds. She realizes this and raises her head to look at him.
"Why do you even care about my problems and my life?"
She says as tears started to come out, once again.
"They..... they ruined my life! I hate them so much! Why? Don't I deserve a better life?! Couldn't I have a better life than this?! Why couldn't I have been born into a different family!" She started shouting as she was crying.
She asked all these as if she were asking him.
He caresses her hand and calmed her down.
"If you didn't, you wouldn't have met me." He smiles warmly and waited for her to look at him.
When she did he stared into her eyes and it seemed as if everything stopped and they were the only ones to move.
It was so quiet. They stared at each other and it was as if they were speaking words.
They understood each other.

She breaks the silence by sighing and looking down.
"I think you better go. You're a busy person."
She looks up to him and smiles.
"You have made my life worthwhile in just a few minutes."
She laughed softly and smiles warmly at him.
He nodded at her and hated the fact that they have to part.
They've known each other for minutes, yet it felt like they knew each other for their whole life.

He stood up and tugged on her hand to motion her to stand up as well.
He held both of her hands as she was just inches away from him.
She looked up to him and giggled.
"You're so tall. Look at me!" She smiles and looks at him.
"Tomorrow, at this time. Will you wait for me here?"
She nods and smiles at his request.

They hated that they had to part but they were so happy that they'll meet each other again.
She went back home with a smile.
She decided to study hard and get a great job and work hard.
He made her life worth living.
