"Thank God you''re alive"

SHIN HYE'S POV

             I was so relieved when I saw Min Ho's eyes fluttered and open. I thought he was going to die. I saw him from a far as he slipped because an older kid tripped him. To my horror his head hit the side of the pool. I ran as fast as I could to rescue him since the older kids scampered leaving Min Ho unconscious body in the pool. How could they?  I threw my bag and jumped right away, every second counts. Good thing I am a swimmer and I was taught how to rescue someone who was drowning. There's blood gushing out of Min Ho's head so I swim faster to the shallow part of the pool. The life guard arrived and carried him to the side and performed CPR. I get a towel and put it on the wound of his head to stop the bleeding.

         When Min Ho was finally conscious he was placed in a stretcher, the rescuers will bring him to the hospital since his head wound needed treatment. I hope it's not serious though. One of the rescuer put a towel around me so that I won't have colds. "Here's a towel for a brave little girl. Good thing that you were able to save your friend, I don't think he would still alive if it weren't for you" he said as he ruffle my wet hair. Then I suddenly remembered the time when I needed to be rescued.

FLASHBACK...5 years ago

I was playing hide and seek with my neighbors in a nearby park and they forcefully locked me in a small cupboard. I kept on shouting but no one heard me. I had panick attack and because the cupboard is so cramped I fainted.

“Ready or not here I come” someone shouted

Someone tried to open the door

“Ugh its locked” said a cute voice of a boy obviously someone my age

“Can you hear me?” I asked pounding the door

“Huh? Someone is in there? the boy asked

“yes, what's your name? I inquired

“Kim Soo Hyun” the boy replied

“Nice meeting you Soo Hyun, I am Park Shin Hye” I answered

“ Why are you in there?” he asked looking really worried

“ I was accidentally locked in here” I replied not wanting her new found friend to worry

“Gwenchana?

“Neh, gukjeongmalyo ! I assured him

“ Wait I’ll ask for help, I’ll be back okay”
