the plot
( explanation station ) : the ansan academy swim team used to be known for it's numerous wins and stellar swimmers. they've been on a downward spiral for the last 4 years, as the seniors that graduated the year before were the best swimmers on the team. coach kang, the 87 year old gym teacher, is about to retire. he's determined to leave still being the coach of a great team, even if that means harrassing/bribing the students into joining it. 14 students have been recruited, even if they don't know how to swim.
the surface + the edge
( faceclaims, age range, etc ) : the age range is 19-15, so 1997-2001. For faceclaims, you can use pretty much anyone, just make sure they can sort of pass for a high schooler. I'd prefer if your faceclaim wasn't born before 1992, but I know there are some people who can pass, such as mamamoo''s solar. Oh my girl''s hyojung is taken. for your character's style all you need is how they wear their uniform + what swimsuit they have. Please please PLEASE do not pick a stringy as bikini bc I will reject your app just for that. Just look up sport swimsuits and you'll find something. Also, I am only accepting both genders even though it only says female gender on the application. (I started filling it out as semi's app and forgot to put the m back and that's why it's on there)
The deep end + dive in!
( personality + interview ) : this is pretty much a known rule in the applyfic community, but no Mary sues. Give them some depth so I can develop their character!! Answer the interview as your character por favor. If you want to add I'm gestures that would be gr8.
the shallow end + the ladder
( love interest + password ) : so your love interest is going to be one of the Monsta x boys. I'm requiring it that you have a love interest bc this is high school and happens. You can be like dating one of the other boys and like a different one and play switcharoo if you want to. The password is a gif of someone swimming
floatie points
( things that i need in my life ): ok so the yteen dance practice came out and soobin and minhyuk just look so cute together so i would love you if you applied for minhyuk's plotline (or even kihyun's bc that'd be cute too) and used soobin as a fc. also using my babies hyeri and sohee as fcs!! oh oh! and if you have a character who's sibling was on the swim team before it went to so she can come back and coach the team and stuff. (semi has an older brother who was on the team, so your character could be close with her) also BOY CHARACTERS!!!!! YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CHARACTER A BOY, SO DUDE GIVE ME THE CUTE GAY RELATIONSHIPS. OR JUST CUTE IN GENERAL, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BE GAY BUT PLZ BC I NEED
