Description
When it comes to social acceptance, it is something that not every individual could find. Friendship, bond, and trust is everything believed to be needed in a typical school environment. The more friends you have, the easier it will be for you. This may be the case for many individuals, but sometimes it is okay to have only one person by your side. With a bad reputation carried upon her shoulders, Sumin spends her days in the classroom in an isolated and solitary style. On one cloudy school day just before their release to winter vacation, Sumin finds herself chalking under a highway with her bestfriend Jaehyun.
They say you need a group of friends to survive, but that's not true for Jaehyun and I.
Foreword
Jung Jaehyun:
Beloved boy of the school despite his reserved demeanor. He doesn't get along with just anyone and mostly ignores all the attention given to him from girls. He has been friends with Sumin since middle school. Unlike Sumin, Jaehyun does not have to deal with hatred from students. He treasures Sumin because she has helped him through the darkest days by always staying by his side.
Han Sumin (You):
A rumor goes around that she has smashed a glass bottle on her father's head during middle school and almost killed him. From then, she carries a dark reputation and became an outcast. The only person who stayed by her side during her troubled days was Jung Jaehyun. In a way, they are able to empathize with each other and understand each other because both have experienced tough situations. Unlike Jaehyun, she receives hate from a majority of the girls in her school for hanging around the school's beloved boy, her only friend, Jaehyun.
