Day six alone was restless.
The loud, booming music kept Sana awake. Countless times, she tried squishing her head in between pillows to keep her asleep. Failing, she peered through Mina’s house and saw more cars filling in the driveway and people slogging inside.
Everyone closely related to Sana knows she loves sleep to an extent of thinking vile thoughts whenever she's disturbed. During scenarios like this, Sana thought, why is Mrs. Kang—their terrific strict neighbor—not banging Mina’s door and get those party addicts out far, far, and away.
Sana cooked herself a midnight snack as she made a video call. Nonetheless, it’s better eating when you can’t sleep. A familiar tune popped up when her best friend for years, finally picked up the skype call. She could hear the mouse clicking from the speakers. Tzuyu with her typical stoic face launched in her screen.
“What’s up?” Tzuyu droned, checking her imaginary watch on her wrist and feigning a yawn, “It’s already late and I was just about to sleep. What’s with the sudden call? And oh boy, it’s already 1am it’s a miracle you’re still up.”
Sana held her laptop and focused the tall girl’s home. Tzuyu was met with a window in her screen, her eyes squinted as she looked confused on what Sana wanted to interpret.
“That! That is the reason why I can’t sleep! My hands are still numb from yesterday and now she’s being so insensitive in throwing a party just because she’s home alone.” Sana was fuming, gesturing wildly with her hands and voice gett
