Chapter 14   A/N: IT'S FREAKING OUT GUYS!!! IF YOU STILL HAVE NOT WATCH IT, WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIVES?! GO AND BUY THEIR ALBUM ALONG THE WAY XD   ___   After the trio did some investigation (secretly), they discovered that Hiachi never stole the chip. It was given to him. Like what Seunghyeon had predicted, Hiachi was just a front so the insider's identity would remain protected. The three are now interrogating Seungri, a board member that gave Hiachi the chip.    "Why did you do it?" Seunghyeon asked rather calmly at Seungri whose hands and feet were tied to a steel chair that was bolted to the ground. "... I was threatened." Seungri could only lower his head. "So the 'I promise to serve and protect the country with all my life' was just a joke to you?" "I told you I was-" "Excuses." Seunghyeon sat back on one of the chairs in the room.    "You're now sentenced to death because of what you did but if you help us in any sort of way, the punishment may be lightened. It's worth a try." Soohyun gives a nod at Seungri telling him to spill everything. "So why?" Soohyun asked. It took a few moments before Seungri spoke, as if looking for the right words. "Hiachi...I gave him the chip so he can take the blame instead. He was supposed to give it to him before he got killed." Seungri took a deep breath after.    "What does this 'guy' need the chip for?" Seunghyeon leaned on to the steel table between them and Seungri. Minho just stayed silent and observed everything. A smirk can be seen on Seungri. "He doesn't. The 'guy' just wanted to use it as an excuse to kill or arrest Hiachi with the help of you guys. Hiachi planned to surrender and confess all his crimes and drag the 'guy' at the same time. But he threatened Hiachi with his family's lives." Minho narrowed his eyes on Seungri. 'This 'guy'? What's the use of hiding his identity now?' Minho thought.   "What do you mean he doesn't need the chip?" Seunghyeon  asked, trying to keep a rational mind. "He already knows what's inside it before I gave it to Hiachi. He only needs to know the location of the excalibur weapons." This infuriated Seunghyeon. Their suspicions were confirmed. Someone did want to start a war or worse, rule the world. "Why don't you stop with the games, Seungri. Tell us who this guy is." "He can't." All heads turned to Minho, slightly surprised after speaking for the first time.    "What do you mean he can't?" Seunghyeon asked but instead of a reply, Minho made his way to Seungri. Minho tilted Seungri's head to the right, showing a red light that keeps blinking, located at the side of his neck. "The 'guy' that this scumbag is working for can hear everything right now. He implanted this radio like device on Seungri so he can monitor every move he does. Am I right?" Seungri suddenly laughs out loud. "Bravo! As expected from the best field/mechanics agent. Believe me, I wanted to help. But he can kill me anytime he wants. This thing that's been implanted within me is not just any simple radio. With just a press of a button, this thing will fry me to death. Face it, I'm hopeless!"    The room fell silent. Seunghyeon did feel hopeless. He honestly didn't know what to do of the moment. Death sentence was useless in Seungri's case. He can die anytime soon if the hidden enemy wishes to.    "He's evil. He want's to rule the world with the weapons. He already knows where the weapons are. It's only a matter of time before he-" Seungri suddenly can't breath. Veins from his head started showing. Seungri then shouts in pain. The other three just watched frozen.  "Stop. Stop. Stop!!!" Seungri's cries of help echoed through the four corners of the room.    "Seungri, Who is it? Be a hero for the last time!" Seunghyeon hurriedly released Seungri from being tied. Indeed, Seungri's body was burning hot but he couldn't careless. Seunghyeon held his old colleague's hand as if giving the tiniest bits of hope. Seungri could only smile in defeat, already accepted his faith. With the littlest of strength left within him, he forced the words out of his mouth before his last breath,   "Red cloud."   Seungri's body slowly turns pale to black. His body shrunk until his skeleton were visible as if he was to death. "...I promise you, your death won't be in vain." Seunghyeon fights for his tears to remain hidden. He and Seungri did have years of friendship.    ___   3 Days layer   Irene POV   "Tzuyu, what do you think?" I turned to Tuzyu's direction. I'm wearing an off-shoulder dress that stopped just above my knees with a matching purse to complete my get-up.  It's not that I don't like wearing dresses; it's just that I don't have the confidence of wearing one considering that I always (almost) wear boyish attire for missions.
