“Ow! Ouch!” Kyungsoo cries, as Jongin tries to help patch her up. In a tragic series of events, the idiot had fallen from a ladder, ended up tumbling down a small hill and is now covered in scrapes and bruises and paint. Nothing serious, but still painful apparently. Jongin would have expected this from maybe Chanyeol, who will trip on a flat surface, but not from Kyungsoo. Maybe that’s why she’s so sullen about the whole ordeal; she wouldn’t speak at all as Jongin had helped her walk into the bedroom, and propped her leg up with some pillows. At first she had thought it was cute that she was being so silly about it, but now it’s getting a little exasperating. Scowling terribly, Kyungsoo avoids her hands every time she tries to dab at her with a damp cloth, hissing and gasping dramatically.

“Ooww!” Kyungsoo whines, snatching her arm back from Jongin’s grip and clutching it to her chest. Jongin has had enough.

“Ok, where doesn't it hurt?” Jongin complains, slamming the damp cloth down on the bed and folding her arms across her chest. With a face like thunder, Kyungsoo stares her down for all of three seconds before dissolving into a sullen pout.

“Here,” she gripes, and points to her elbow. Jongin raises one eyebrow. So she’s going to be a baby, huh. Sighing, she relents, and ducks forward to kiss the spot she is pointing at.

“And here,” Kyungsoo doesn’t meet her eyes as she points to her forehead, and Jongin can’t hold back the indulgent smirk as she plays along, pressing her lips gently to her head.

“H-here too,” Kyungsoo pouts, and points to . Jongin shakes her head and gives in. She’s hurt and Jongin can hardly deny her when she’s in pain. Leaning forward, she’s very careful not to brush any sore spots as she kisses her gently, soft lips brushing against one another.

She pulls away slowly, and watches delightedly as Kyungsoo’s eyelashes flutter open,

“Will you let me clean you now?” Jongin gestures to the small cuts all over her, with tiny droplets of blood welling up all over her skin.

“Fine,” Kyungsoo pouts again, holding out her bare arms. She still winces when Jongin dabs at the grazes, and the blooming bruises colouring her skin, but doesn’t complain about it.

“How is your leg?” Jongin asks, pouring out some disinfectant onto a cotton bud. Kyungsoo eyes is warily, and shrugs. Jongin rolls her eyes, and daubs at the bleeding mess of her arms. Her leg probably hurts a lot, Kyungsoo is just too prideful to tell her. Jongin continues to dress her scrapes in silence, using a myriad of cute hello kitty plasters that they had bought for the novelty a few years ago to cover up the larger cuts.

“It’s not my leg that hurts; when I fell I landed on my hip.” Kyungsoo tells her, her whole demeanour deflating.

“You want me to take a look at that as well?” Kyungsoo nods, shifting so she can pull her paint-coated jeans down. There’s not really anything there, but Jongin prods at the expanse of her skin anyway, to make it look like she’s actually examining her. Kyungsoo hisses, and glares at her again.

“Well, I think you’re going to have a terrible bruise?” Jongin raises her eyebrows, a smirk playing at her lips. “I could drive you to the hospital if you want to get an x-ray.”

“Uh-uh.” Kyungsoo shakes her head vehemently, “No way.”
