A Friend for a Friend
All the Way, Girl's Day~INSPIRED BY: Sojin befriending Hayoung in Law of the Jungle
“Unnie!” Hyeri screamed from the living room.
The target of her anger did not bother to move from the bed.
Hyeri would barge into her room soon enough.
As predicted, the younger girl shoved her phone into Sojin’s face seconds upon entering.
“You didn't tell me your new show—”
Sojin rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes to focus on the phone’s bright screen.
“—included Dal Shabet’s Subin!”
“Hmm?” Sojin yawned and tugged Hyeri to sit on the bed so she wouldn't have to crane her neck up at her.
“I'll be in I Am a Movie Director Too with Subin-ssi, yes. What's wrong?”
“Unnieee,” Hyeri whined, shaking Sojin’s arms side to side. “You're stealing all of my friends.”
This woke Sojin up completely.
She laughed at Hyeri’s jealousy.
“Last I heard, Hayoung is still your friend.”
Sojin reached over to squeeze Hyeri’s cheeks together, hoping to also squeeze some sense back into her.
“But Hayoung-ie shaid she’s closher to you now.”
Hyeri managed to pout despite her deformed cheeks.
Releasing her hands from the younger’s face, Sojin smiled.
“I can't help it if you're friends with everyone you meet in this industry. Hayoung and Subin won't forget someone like you so easily, alright? Stop worrying, Hyeri-ah.”
Sojin patted the maknae’s .
“Now scamper. I need to call the manager about something.”
Hyeri slowly trudged out of the room, but not without giving her unnie one last sad look which Sojin simply waved off, already occupied with her call.
She closed the door after her, comforted by Sojin’s words yet unsatisfied.
Turning the switch on, a light bulb flickered to life above her in the hallway.
With it came a mischievous grin.
She dialed up Sojin’s best friend.
A best friend for a few friends, Hyeri reasoned.
Fair is fair.
“What do you want?”
The maknae stifled a cackle, “Yura unnie! Let's go eat meat tonight!”
