Chosen by the leaders to become the next seer of the world, I was worried about the responsibilities I would have to uphold as the future seer. Because my parents were so proud that their daughter was the next seer, I did not ponder on the possible consequences of accepting such a gift would be until I was taken to my new home which happened to be several cities away from my family’s.

          Being away from my family made me realize that I’d no longer have them close to me when I needed them. But no matter, I was doing this for them and I was going to make them proud. Or at least that’s what I thought, oh how wrong I was with that state of mind.

          I didn’t know that becoming a seer meant I’d be forced to see things I’d wish to unsee. I didn’t know that becoming a seer meant that I’d be ed into a world of horror, turmoil, sadness, and anger. I didn’t know that becoming a seer would mean I’d have to reject everything I knew this world to be.

          Most importantly, I didn’t know that as a seer I’d meet them. And as crazy as it sounds, I didn’t think I’d ever, as a seer, join them: The Rebels.
