Seulgi POV 

"Ya! Where have you been?" Irene said when I walked through the door 

"Just the usual, late night walks." 
I lied, and it really pains me I have to do it every time, but I really can't tell them about jaebum and I. 

I wish it was simply that easy to tell them but I can't risk it, I need to protect us, I need to protect him.

"Can you go for earlier walks?! It's too dangerous at this time" Irene's tone of voice was sounding motherly 

"I will next time unnie, but really there's nothing to worry about."
I gave her a hug and headed to my room.

My foot steps became heavier and heavier as I walked to my room,  I felt as if I was carrying a huge weight of lies. 
How could wanting to be happy with someone feel so heartbreaking. 

I stopped at the front of my door, and composed myself together before heading in 
As usual Wendy was listening to her soothing music while attempting to fall asleep

Wendy always struggled with her sleeping pattern, i honestly think it's because she's up all night watching too many YouTube videos 

"Can't sleep?" I said as jumped into bed 

She sighed, "hmm yeah"

Something wasn't right, her tone of voice sounded upsetting 

"What's wrong wan?" 
I lifted myself, to face her direction 

She pulled out a photo from under her bed and looked at it 
" I.."
" I .. I miss my family."
She begun to tear up, but it eventually turned into silent crying.

I immediately got up and gave her a hug, Wendy was not the type  at all to cry, she always maintained her feelings, which I think is not good at all 

It was horrible seeing her cry, but I felt relieved she's letting it out

"It's okay wan, we are here for you okay" 

Her crying turned into loud sobbing causing the other members to run in with worry 

They looked at me confused, questioning what had happened 
I mouthed to the members to quite down, 

"We are here for you wan"  I said 

the members rushed our direction and didn't  ask further more as they opened their arms welcoming Wendy into our warm embrace 

We were so close, like family 

I begun to tear up, as we were all squishing up together 

Why couldn't I tell them about Jaebum 

Why?
